The Great All-Shire Golfinbul's skull Golf Tourney

About the adventure

A band of orcs has crossed the northern border not long ago. A farm was sacked and its hobbit family left in shock after they luckily managed to hide from the raiders in the cellar of the farm… A horrible atmosphere has dwelt since on the whole Shire. So Mayor Pott Whitfoot of Michel Delving, in order to boast the reputation of the Watch and to keep his Hobbits in good shape, has come with this great idea to create The First Great All-Shire Four-Farthings Greenfields Golfinbul's skull Golf Tourney, where each Farthing will be represented by its best Bounders. The Mayor wants to lift everyone’s spirit by reminding them of the heroic deeds of the past. To mark the event, dramatize the celebration a little, and encourage everyone's curiosity, the games will be played with the actual skull of infamous Golfinbul the Goblin himself! The skull of Golfinbul has been put on display on top of the Three-Farthings Stone to brings everyone’s attention toward the coming Tourney. Thus the Mayor hopes to bolster courage and alertness in the little people and instigate trust again in the Sheriffs and their Bounders. The player-heroes are invited to play a cast of four Bounders each from a different Farthing. Shirriffs and bounders are forming what is called The Watch, the local "police" of the Shire, charged with maintaining "peace and order" across each of the Four-Farthings. What Farthing will win the game? Are the player-heroes really going to compete against each others? Or will their adventure create such a bond between them that they will find an alternative way to take part in the Tourney, or perhaps change the rules of the Tourney altogether?…
