About the adventure
A free Open Pendragon game designed to run 2-4 sessions a month! The game started in the Age of Uther, and is moving swiftly into Anarchy after King Uther's Death. Players play Bachelor & mercenary knights, but have the ability to move up the social ladder. Games are recorded or streamed live. The setting for this universe is shared with streamed games on my Youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCxmAm1M1UQ_hHWvcARHlb6g It is semi-historical in feel, which means that some of the modern progressive stances are rare exceptions, versus widely accepted. As Open Pendragon is mostly about what happens in a particular adventure, these topics rarely come up, but are handled delicately and with kindness.

I’ve been running games since the early 90s and have GMed well over a dozen systems across hundreds of sessions. Creating your character
Characters are created before game in a Session 0, or at the beginning of the session. Ultimately players choose a starting template if they have never played Pendragon, or they use the 5.2 creation if they are familiar. They will choose a Culture and Religion as depicted by the 5.2 game, though some exceptions are made for some of the other cultures and religions around. Roll20 allows for creating your own sheet, so once you have access to the Roll20 you can create your own under the Waiting for Approval folder, and then we will review that before you play your first session!
