Dawn of the Rebellion - a SW5E Roleplaying and Combat campaign
Star Wars 5e | Campaign
About the adventure
"This is Senator Mon Mothma, I have been called a traitor for speaking out against a corrupt Galactic Senate. A Senate manipulated by the sinister tactics of the Emperor. For too long I have watched the heavy hand of the Empire strangle our liberties, stifling our freedoms in the name of ensuring our safety. No longer! Despite Imperial threats, despite the Emperor himself, I have no fear as I take new action. For I am not alone. Beginning today we stand together as allies. I hereby resign from the Senate to fight for you, not from the distant hall of politics but from the front lines. We will not rest until we bring an end to the Empire, until we restore our Republic! Are you with me?” The game is set in 2bby following the above speech by Mon Mothma. With the open declaration of rebellion, beings from all corners of the galaxy are questioning their loyalties and making a stand. The Empire is cracking down even further on suspicious activity and stormtroopers and other imperial agents raid and kill at the slightest hint of rebel activity.
Game style
Roleplay Heavy
“Roleplay Heavy” games place the focus on the story, the characters, and the world they live within, and tend to lean hard into the various roleplaying elements of the game. These games will frequently find the party talking with NPCs, exploring the personal elements of their backstories, or even having emotional moments around the camp fire.
The Group is Currently level 4 and in the process of recruiting a rebel cell on Jabiim to the wider cause of the Rebellion. Your actions will help shape the path of the Rebellion and impact the events of the original trilogy. Join now and help shape the fate of the galaxy! We will be using the following Homebrew and Alternate rules ASI and a feat 1. When you reach a level that allows for an Ability Score Increase you may choose one of the following options: i) +2 to a stat of your choice ii) +1 to a stat of your choice AND a feat of your choice (edited) [12:43 PM] 2. FORCE ALIGNMENT The Force is manifested by two powerful and opposing aspects: the Ashla and the Bogan, more commonly known as the light side and the dark. As force-wielding characters evolve throughout the game, they can gravitate towards one side or the other (or neither, should they choose), resulting in physical manifestations and boons. https://sw5e.com/rules/variantRules/Force%20Alignment (edited) [12:46 PM] 3. HUNTED In some eras of Star Wars history, forcecasters are a rarity, and are hunted across the galaxy by the likes of Inquisitors, or if they’re unlucky, a Dark Lord of the Sith, in an attempt to crush any foreseen threats to their rule. Should you want your forcecasting players to experience this additional level of drama and suspense, here is an alternate rule to implement: Whenever a player casts a force power, others in the Galaxy may detect their presence through ripples in the Force. Each player has a pool of Disturbance Points. This pool of Disturbance Points increases every time a force power is cast by a number of points equal to the level of the force power used (at-will powers are treated as Level 0). After each combat, roll a percentile dice for each player that used a force power. If you roll a number equal to or lower than the players Disturbance Pool, they are detected by Jedi Hunters of your determination, who begin to hunt the player they detected. During each long rest, decrease each player’s pool of Disturbance Points by an amount equal to their level
