What I provide
I have been Game Mastering for over 30 years. My sessions concentrate on the experience over anything else. Rules are great in regard to fair-play and caring about your characters success statistically can be a good motivator - but it is being a part of a story that sets into your memories and leaves a positive trace in your life - and that is what I aim for. I don't "run" games...I guide them as best I can to an outcome driven by the players and by the story. And while my goal is to know every rule and how best to enforce them, I will sacrifice a rule here and there for the overall benefit of the group. I am an Animator/Graphic Designer by trade and that really helps me create quickly and navigate on a creative level and use acting skills to bring characters to life. Other factors I bring to the "table": - Cohesive Roll20 Landing Pages - Character Voices and Accents - Custom Tokens w/ States (ex: druids and rage token morphs) - Custom Filler Maps/Encounters - Custom Draggable Items (torches, spiritual weapon etc.) - Ambient Music - Session Recording (if group agrees)
Gameplay details
SAFETY We will do a "Session 0", take a break, and do a recap at the end of the session to ensure we are headed in the proper direction for the adventure. How censored we will be is determined by the age of our players in the session.
