About the adventure
At the dawn of time, a war between gods and titans left the landscape of Thylea forever changed. Thousands of years later, the first mortals arrived, carried by ship and dragon. The Dragonlords were the champions who overthrew the Titans 500 years ago and forged the Oath of Peace. But the power of the Oath has waned, and now the Titans seek vengeance. While having a basic knowledge of the rules is certainly helpful, it is not required. No downloads are required, but you will need an account on Discord and Forge. Forge will be used to run the game in Foundry. All you need is the free player account. About me
Hey everyone! My name is Kim, I've been playing D&D and DMing campaigns for almost 6 years. I love to work together with my players to create a story for the ages! I highly value Roleplaying in my games and tend to really weave the characters into the narrative: You are part of the world we're playing in! I can't host enough D&D sessions, but sadly my friends tend to somehow have a life and I am thus in need of new players! Are you the player I am looking for? Hopefully, I am the DM for you :D I run my sessions on Foundry which allows me to create massive immersion using battle maps, music, sound effects, animations etc.

Creating your character
Each player can come up with a general character concept on which I tie an epic path which I think comes closest. I do this to keep the epic paths (which will be major in your backstory) secret from the other players. During session 0 we will create your character sheet and this is where you can discuss classes and races with each other. The available (new) races, and (sub)classes will be provided within the character creation section on discord. Your starting level will be 1 and we will be using the 2024 ruleset. We are going to use milestone leveling.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You require a reliable internet connection to use Foundry (run through Forge) and Discord. Have a good quality mic available. The use of a webcam isn't mandatory, the DM however will use a webcam for better RP.
What Kim brings to the table
We will be using Foundry VTT, complete with maps, music, custom tokens, spell animations, and more! New and unique races, subclasses and spells are provided from the sourcebook and inspiration Mythic Odyssey of Theros. There will be a community server on Discord where you can meet other players from my games and where additional information will be provided. The sessions are also held within discord. I primarily focus on RP and really hone in on the characters and their backstories. You will all receive an epic path which helps place your character in the setting and story. I use a whisper channel on discord for secret conversations/dreams/nightmares/etc for the players during the session. I also like to challenge my players in difficult tactical combat. All in all, my mission is to provide you all with a fun, challenging and engaging story full with hard moral choices. And who knows, you might become Gods in the end ;)

How Kim creates a safe table
Session 0 will be FREE! Everyone will receive a copy of the Monte Cook RPG Consent Checklist after joining the game. During session 0 we will discuss expectations of the game and set a boundary list. We will also create and fill your character sheet on Foundry and go over the rules. Within Foundry X, N, and O card are available throughout play.
