About me
I’m Ash Ely, Dungeon Master, Game Master, Co-Host of the RPGBOT.Podcast, and Contributing Author for RPGBOT.net. I am a professionally trained actor and I have a Masters Degree in Game Design. My passion is guiding players through unique experiences, weird worlds, meeting interesting characters and crawling challenging Dungeons. Combined with my training, I love fully immersing my players during sessions. I love the use of mechanics to create the ideal world, and I love the rules of the game…unless they get in the way of fun. As any good Dungeon Master should, I have mastered D&D. Creating your character
When creating your character, please consult the Season of Ghosts Player's Guide (Provided by me) for appropriate/thematic character options. I will also be providing the Tian Xia World Guide as well as the Tian Xia Character Guide (Those options are still not on Archives of Nethys for some reason). Uncommon and Rare ancestries not mentioned in the Player's Guide will need to be cleared by me. We will be playing with the Free Archetype variant rules, but not the Ancestral Paragon rules. Characters should be created using pathbuilder found here: https://pathbuilder2e.com/
New players are welcome to join at any time during the adventure! No experience or familiarity with the world of Golarion required.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
I will provide most everything you need for character creation and the rest can be found on the Archives or in pathbuilder. You will require a discord account as well as a working microphone. You will additionally be asked to setup a free account on forge-vtt.com to access the Foundry server. My DMs on Discord or on StartPlaying are always open if you have any questions or concerns not addressed here! 😀

How Ash Ely creates a safe table
We will have our Session 0 free of charge. In this session we will go over the community covenant, which includes rules, expectations as well as Lines and Veils. I encourage my players to add any stipulations, expectations or Lines and Veils during that time. We will then discuss the themes of the adventure as well as any potentially sensitive content. If time permits, we will pitch character ideas as well as your relationship to the town of Willowshore (Are you a native? An immigrant? A visitor?) as well as your relationship to each other.
