About the adventure
Your characters are all enjoying day out on a tropical beach in the beautiful vacation destination of Palma Flora. There's sun, drinks, beach games and more. When suddenly, an earthquake shakes the beach and abominations begin to rise from the sea... This is a beginner-friendly short-campaign from 'Explorer's Guide to Wildmount'. This campaign should take approximately 4 sessions. In this campaign, you'll encounter: - ⛵ship chases - 🦜pirates - 🦈abominations - ❔moral choices This is an adventure that takes your characters from 1st to 3rd level. It introduces you to the Menagerie Coast—a tropical region filled with monstrous abominations, mysterious curses, and ancient temples. (Please note - this is a nautical adventure and includes sharks and sharklike creatures). "A cool breeze drifts across Flora Isle, mingling the sweet scent of flowers with the salty tang of the Lucidian Ocean. Well-tanned locals play on the beach, while sunburned visitors sit in wicker chairs and sip cold drinks. A half-dozen nearly naked shark hunters preparing to compete in the annual tournament stand in the shallows on the south shore, armed with harpoons and their wits."

How to prepare
TECH REQUIREMENTS: - Microphone (essential) - we need to be able to hear you - Headphones (preferred) - stops feedback - Webcam - optional, but encouraged - D&D Beyond account - you must have a D&D Beyond account to create your character. BEFORE THE GAME: - Either create a 1st level character or choose a pre-gen from the campaign on D&D Beyond. - If you want to think about a potential 1-2 paragraph backstory you may, but we will spend part of Session 1 talking about characters, connections etc.
What I provide
This game runs via Discord and D&D Beyond. - Voice/video - Discord (video is optional, but encouraged). - VTT and Character Sheets - D&D Beyond. When you sign up, I'll give you a D&D Beyond link to join the campaign as well as a Discord Link.
Gameplay details
Off-limits to any game: Sexual violence, harm to children, animal torture, homophobia, transphobia, queerphobia, ableism, racism. Players will be asked to send me any other topics that are off limits to them at the start of the first session. And are free to update me at any time throughout the adventure. In Discord, players can either type in chat or DM me an X, N or O.

How will character creation work
You may choose a premade character in the campaign or make your own 1st level character. You will have access to sources via D&D Beyond. We will dedicate the first 20-30 minutes of the first session to creating a light backstory and party connections.
