About the adventure
Hello! The world of Aberrant is a superhero setting, in which homo sapiens novus, or Novas as they are commonly called, began appearing on the scene roughly a decade ago. These novas have incredible powers and many have taken up superheroics either as part of UN sponsored teams or by becoming local municipal Defenders. Others sell their services for hire as Elites. Some even work with organized crime as criminals or terrorists. In this campaign, players will create characters recently hired by a nova-run company called Amalgamated Idea Dynamics, operating in Madison, Wisconsin. The party are brought into the company to expand their exploratory sciences division, looking for new breakthroughs in sea, space, and dimensional exploration. Each story will focus on the party exploring a new area with new wonders and threats. New players, LGBTQ+, and BIPOC welcome!

How to prepare
You'll need discord and a working mic. I'll be providing editable PDF character sheets to everyone, and will ask for a copy of those sheets upon completion of the character.
What I provide
I'll provide character sheets as well as reference materials for rules and power descriptions.
Gameplay details
During session 0 we will create characters as a group, discuss the use of safety tools and go over our "yes gos" which are things we would like to see, and our "no gos" which are things that will not be seen in the game. X, N, and O may be communicated verbally or in chat. We will be meeting audio only in discord, and using a digital dice roller in the chat.

How will character creation work
We will meet as a group to create starting nova characters. We'll build the group as a team to facilitate cooperative, fun, and effective play. Those joining late will have access to the existing characters as reference and will generate characters in a one-on-one session 0 prior to joining.
