About the adventure
Something stirs within the deep shadows and stalks the streets of Newfaire at night. Citizens from all walks of life have gone missing, leaving behind only shadows etched into the pavements. The city is stirring in its sleep, slowly waking to the threat and it's up to your Circle to soothe its fears and bring peace back to the populace. The Hungry Dark is a short adventure for 3 - 6 players (characters can be provided) with some light investigative elements, opportunities for social role-playing, and a cinematic climax.

The ST keeps excellent notes during his sessions. And makes timely call backs to previous events in the story. Two ex lovers are currently having a tiff and it's been running for the last few weeks. It's hysterical. Creative scenarios. Descriptive Dreamscapes. The ST niche is presenting a supernatural mystery. Good use of symbolism. ST allows players to go towards the depth of RP and Horror themes they are comfortable with. Some of the players were in the deep end and some were at the shallow end. And balancing that was well done. I would love to see what this ST can do unleashed.

The Storyguide was knowledgeable of the system and did a great job explaining the system. The game was a lot of fun and everyone was engaged and had a good time.

Very personable and laid-back Storyguide. Kept our Scion 2e one-shot running at a swift but pleasant pace and was happy to answer any questions we had about the game's mechanics. Would play another game run by them if given the opportunity.
Additional details
How to prepare
At minimum, players will need a microphone and a willingness to respect the time of their fellow players and the genre of the game. Familiarity with the rules would be useful, but isn't necessary.
What I provide
I'm queer (pansexual and genderfluid), and can provide pre-generated characters, access to a Foundry server through a third-party hosting service (no account required), and a willingness to work with players to allow them to do whatever they want within the mechanics of the game. I can also provide a Zoom meeting for the audio/video needs, although no video is required. 'Yes, and' and 'No, but' are both tools in my arsenal and, as a professional TTRPG freelancer, I know how to twist mechanics and narrative in interesting ways and produce, hopefully, interesting and exciting results.

I have an editable Google Sheet based on the Monte Cook Consent Checklist that I will send out ahead of time and the X/N/O card can be conveyed however the player is comfortable communicating it.
