The game has two parts the first part (Level 1-5) you are in Baldur's Gate as the Holy city of Elturel has fallen and the city of Baldur's gate has to deal with the influx of refugees, while the Dead Three Cultist cause mayhem in the streets. Part two (Level 6-13) you are in the Avernus and have to deal with devils, demons and the Archduke of Avernus itself, Zariel.
