Dakota has been my Game Master for 8 years. He taught me how to play multiple systems, and has crafted several fantastic campaigns. His knowledge of 5e, Pathfinder, Pathfinder 2e, and Fate is honestly amazing. He is able to not only help players craft characters that fit their play styles and interest, but he is able to weave a compelling and fun narrative around those characters. When you play a campaign with Dakota as your game master you feel like the campaign has been crafted specifically for you. He does a great job of compelling the story forward with interesting plot point, memorable characters, jaw dropping twists, and unique villians that all come together to form a complex and emotional story that will stay with you even after the campaign ends.
If you want a DM who is full of passion for all things D&D, then I urge you to stop and experience a session with Dakota. He is incredibly talented in creating different, immersive voices and characters that fit in perfectly with the amazing world he has created. And while things look pretty on the outside they're even more on the inside. His knowledge of most mechanics impressive, as well as willingness to learn all things new. But a more impressive note is his natural ability to adapt and create. Whether homebrewing unique races, classes or other mechanics, or just helping you maximize and achieve the vision for your character with established material, Dakota makes it an easy and fun experience for all!
I have been playing in games with Cody for 8 years. He is a great DM for both beginning players and for ones who are more experienced. His knowledge of the rules is encyclopedic but he does not let the rules get in the way of a good idea or creative solution. He is good a weaving in party members backstory in to the campaign, sometimes in unexpected ways. My favorite part of playing with Cody is the memorable NPC may of how now have become a inside joke.
Character creation
Creating your character
It will happen before session following the standard pathfinder 2e character creation rules. I will send out a Google doc outlining some specific rules for creating your character for this adventure.
A simple adventure that gives space for simple, fun but dynamic roleplay. It has a few combats and uses some of the different systems available to pathfinder 2e
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will need a microphone and a roll20 account. Everyone will make characters for the game. If a player is new to Pathfinder 2e or tabletop in general I will work with them before the session to help create their character.
What Dakota Cox brings to the table
I will be focused on creating an engaging roleplay experience through character voices, ambience and descriptive narration. I will be focused on creating a fun gaming experience through rules based fast tactical combat and other interesting game mechanics. I try to run a game that would be considered balanced between the different aspects of tabletop role-playing games with the rules serving as a foundation and leaping off point for great roleplay, fun encounters and memorable moments.

How Dakota Cox creates a safe table
I will be sending a Google Doc link for my Lines and Veils as well as providing my Discord for any additional information a player wants to provide or wants to ask me for an additional information. I will stay in after session for a group debrief and I will be open on messaging for anyone wanting to reach out for further debriefing. I try to run my games from a place of kindness and fun. I want people to feel welcome at my table, that they can learn how to play the game, and that they can have fun playing the game.
