Troubles in Otari (DC20)
DC20 | Campaign
About the adventure
Go on an adventure in the beloved town of Otari! Otari is a small fishing village in the Pathfinder setting of Golarion. Start your adventure at level 1 as you delve into a modified version of the Pathfinder Beginners Boxes "Menace Under Otari." This will allow the party to gain comradery as well as reaching level 2 which is where the beginning of Troubles in Otari picks up. Tamily Tanderveil opens chapter 1 of this adventure by offering the party her old fishing camp. The catch? It has not be inhabited in a long time and there may be dangers to clear out before it is suitable as a base of operations for the party. Chapter 2 is a sandbox style adventure with an intricately interwoven plot. Chapter 3 concludes the adventure with a classic dungeon crawl. This will take your PCs from level 1 - level 4! With Beta 0.9 being released very soon, be one of the first to experience the new changes with this well written Pathfinder adventure now converted to DC20! Gary will be running this game. You can see him run DC20 for other YouTubers on our YouTube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/live/6GkYTf9OLdI?si=H75nPy5sOMI_dAmA
While the session number is #3, the party has only completed the prologue. The next session on 4/12/25 will be the first session of the actual module making this a great time to jump in. We have 3 seats open. The party is level 2. The adventure goes through level 4. It is a complete and proper conversion of the beloved Pathfinder starting adventure Troubles in Otari now painstakingly converted to DC20! Join today! (I will get with new players prior to 4/12 to create characters and cover any other onboarding. My schedule is pretty flexible, so it will not be a problem. I look forward to gaming with you!) Additional details
How to prepare
You will need a working microphone. You will need a Discord account (Free) You will need a Roll20 account (Free at the basic level) While not needed as I will provide the rules for DC20, reviewing the rules by purchasing a copy from The Dungeon Coach would help support the system and get you your own copy. That can be purchased at: https://thedungeoncoach.com/?srsltid=AfmBOoqPL64PQE391QX2UUXNsUElPy7sZTCyQXjFAJzMtOC9WV3XHPOX
What I provide
I have a highly modified character sheet for Roll20 that allows almost any roll to be made from the sheet. I believe that the VTT is a tool to let us tell an amazing story and I do not let it get in the way of that goal. I do my best to voice my NPCs. I have purchased DC20 from the Dungeon Coach. I get the Beta updates. I am also a Dungeon Coach Patron and I get the DC20 Magazine updates when they come out once a month. I make these available to the players in my games. I have been running DC20 since March of 2024. I have run DC20 for hundreds of hours. I have been DMing D&D5e since 2018. I have run Pathfinder 2e since January 2023. All of this experience with all 3 of these systems is why I think I am perfect for this adventure.
