About the adventure
When listening to a TTRPG play show, have you ever paused and thought, “What would I do?” and roleplayed your actions in your head? If so, this is the game for you. Experience the Critical Role dramatic encounter but as your own adventurer. To prep for this, see below! In general: -Have a Roll20 account (Will send link to game via discord at beginning of session) -Have Discord account (Will send server invite after signup!) -Have functional mic -Message me any boundaries or trigger concerns prior to session For this specific one shot: DM me on StartPlaying or through Discord the below info prior to the session :) 1. What I provide
-map and tokens -I run background music through spotify -I do character voices for NPCs -I run tactical combat -I am very descriptive of the environment, the scene, and the character actions. -I by default stick to the rules, but allow all forms of creativity and want players to be rewarded for their strategic, imaginative, or comedic efforts! So rule of cool, if you wanna do something cool.
Gameplay details
Please see the community-guidelines thread on the discord. I will go over what too expect before starting the one shot and we can debrief afterwards as well. DM me before session any boundaries or specific things to avoid. I handle the X,N,O via private message, so if during the session you want to pivot a simple 'n' will do! And if it is too intense, a simple 'x' will do. Please also deafen yourself on discord or leave call and I will DM you once safe to rejoin and the scene has changed or stopped!

How will character creation work
Level 20 (For Stats: Standard Array or Point Buy) -1 Legendary or Very Rare Magic Item, 2 Rare Magic Items, 2 Uncommon Magic Items -1 Potion of your Choice of Very Rare Rarity or lower (Heroism, Healing, Speed, etcetera) -Unlimited common items, armor, weapons -1 Free Starter Feat (Can swap for Ability Score Improvement (+2 to one stat, or +1 to two stats)) -1 Free Proficiency in any Skill (Can also Pick Initiative if desired instead of a usual skill) -1 Free Expertise in any Skill (Regardless of Class, pick one skill already proficient with and upgrade with Expertise(double Proficiency bonus) can pick initiative if picked for free Proficiency) Notes: -can use 2014 or 2024 rules -can use any published content -can use any method for character creation and tracking (Dnd Beyond, Roll20, PDF, pen/paper) -can flavor spells or items to match your idea as long as mechanically nothing changes -if desire homebrew or something not in rules and have an idea, just let me know and we can work something out! -can use a pre-existing character if same level, just send sheet to me to review
