What brings people together more than promise of adventure, fortune, and unlocked mystery? Join an adventure that will span the length of the Forgotten Realms both in time and land. We begin with the classic entry point for new players Lost Mine of Phandelvar, but will kick it up a notch with your backstories as well as some foreboding and ominous signs that lead into either Shattered Obelisk or Storm King's Thunder. Mix it all up with a ton of homebrew and you got yourself a self-branding adventuring party. Let's hope you stay alive enough to make a name for yourselves. I am Dr Joe, I have been DM'ing and playing D&D 5e over the past 7 years, using combinations of online and in-person sessions. I am a storyteller by heart, with my primary goal to make this experience as immersive and engaging as possible for my players through the use of voice-acting, ambient background sounds, thematic music, and challenging role-play. Professionally I am a licensed clinical psychologist that specializes in utilizing Geek culture such as video games and tabletop games in a therapeutic manner. While this won't be therapy, I have trained skill sets to keep up communication, role-play, and a fun atmosphere. My games are usually a 50/50 split of role-play and combat with a side of puzzle, and I often integrate my own home-brew ideas into some of the module narrative. I prefer to have mature players 18+ due to content and material that can be more on the adult side. While I do not ban murder-hobo and impulsivity from my game, please note that every action has a reaction in my games and things that you do at one point can always come back to haunt you later. Please leave an application in the appropriate thread. Games are every-other-week on Wednesday evenings from 8pm-11pm EASTERN Time. Sessions are $15 per. We will communicate through Discord voice/video (video not essential).
