About the adventure
Come one come all! The annual Frosthaven games are being hosted in Waterdeep for the Midwinter feast day. Compete against your fellow adventurers and a cast of four NPCs from a rival adventuring party. Show off your creativity to impress the crowd and earn style points in competition. Wow the crowd with your creative ability. Deal maximum damage and use clever tactics to earn the most points and gain the killing blow bonus in combat. Compete in contests of skill, agility, wit, and combat to overcome your competitors and be crowned The Midwinter Champion!

How to prepare
A session 0 for new character creation can be scheduled upon request. Players will need a reliable mic and access to Discord for voice and text chat. A Roll20 account (this is free) is required for the virtual table top system. For new players: I recommend watching an introductory video on the basic rules of Dungeons and Dragons.
What I provide
This is a homebrew holiday themed (celebrating the in-game feast day of Midwinter) oneshot created by yours truly for my in-person campaign. I will bring ambient music, fun challenges, and custom maps to game using Roll20 for a virtual tabletop. Unique NPCs to compete against have individual personalities and fun voices. This one shot will use the basic DND 5E rules.
Gameplay details
An open door policy will be used, if anyone ever needs a break from the game they can step away, no questions asked (if necessary another PC will be granted access to control your character). X, N, O can be sent directly to the GM at any time no questions asked. I will take content restrictions and triggers very seriously and will not include them in the game.

How will character creation work
Please bring ready to play characters created using any official Dungeons and Dragons content. Home brew material may be used with my approval. Use the points-buy system to create the ultimate midwinter champion. Existing characters may be used so long as they are between level 5 and 8. New characters should be created at level 8. All character must be created or copied to Roll20.
