About the adventure
Starting with the legendary adventure "The Sunless Citadel" we are following the 3rd edition adventure series The Ashardalon Saga. I have converted the modules not already in 5e to 5e (using 2024 rules). We are open to players of all experience levels and play Monday nights at 7pm EST. These adventures have a variety of settings and themes with lot's of action and fun.

About me
I am an actor, podcaster, producer, director, and most importantly a gamer! I have been playing and running ttrpgs for about 35 years and it is my main passion. I have run for all ages at some point and have an interest in pretty much all genres. I am on the east coast so I am on EST time. I have been in and around this hobby for most of my life and it never fails to surprise me. Patrick did a great job of fitting me into an already seasoned group and helping me get my character created. I had never used DnD Beyond or Roll20 before and he walked me through everything. He is also very knowledgeable about the rules and answers any questions I have.

Loki is really good for beginners. Very good at onboarding new people and working out the technical aspects of the different systems. Loki has also been flexible on character creation. We do a lot of dungeon crawls, so if you like killing monsters you will be right at home.

What I like most about this GM is that he plays all the NPCs in his world with intention; everybody needs something and it feels like a living place. His voice work is fun and he goes the extra distance with atmospheric score and other fun sound effects to lay in the mood.

Character creation
Creating your character
We use roll20 but create characters in DND beyond. You can bring a character if you have one (pending DM approval) but I find it best to create characters together. Pre-generated characters will be available upon request.

What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need a mic for sure a webcam if you'd like. Voice/video will be through Discord and game play through Roll20. I recommend creating a DnD Beyond account for the best experience. Through my DnD Beyond campaign you will have access to all rulebooks. virtual dice are available through roll20 and DnD Beyond. The rules will be taught but looking at the basic rules (available for free from Wizards of the Coast) can certainly help.
