War in Sindarin-Koy, A Beginner friendly 5e fantasy campaign

Creating your character

We will be starting the campaign off at 1st lvl, if unsure how to make a character, feel free to give me a call or text any time before the campaign and ill be sure to help out as much as possible. We will be using dnd beyond for character sheets, unless given specific permission from me to use paper or anything else youd prefer (its mostly just so i can look over your characters easier through dnd beyond but truly i couldnt care less if you use another way of sheet just give me some advance ya know?). If you do not show up to the session with a character, i will wait to introduce you last but i exepct your character too be done by the time i get too you. If it is not done by the time were past introdcutions, i will not be interacting with your character until you notify me that youve completed character creation. I expect youll do just fine though and in advance appreciate those who value my time as a dm, and i hope you know that respect will go right back too you as a player!

Preparing for the session

I do require a mic to play however its up to you if youd like too use a webcam as although i prefer looking and talking face to face with players, I dont want anyone being forced out of there comfort zone. A Discord and Shard tabletop account are mandatory, reading everything written in the sessions descriptions for setting, rules, and safety are mandatory. But besides that were all good, simply add my discord account in my profile description to get added to the server and to start this journey through the war torn continent, of Sindarin-Koy!

What Nikki brings to the table

EXPECTATIONS: This campaign should be beginner friendly, and should be a safe space for each and every player. I will not tolerate racism, homophobia, sexism, abelism, or anything of the sort, and will kick you if your not respecting that those will not be tolerated. Besides that there will be a 3 warning system in my game and by the 3rd warning we will talk outside the session and if we cant figure out how to adjust to help make things run smoothly, I will consider a proper punishment, and in extreme cases, this could lead to you being kicked out of the session without a refund, and barred from playing any future games i run. The basic rules are as follows: 1. No PVP unless both players consent 2. DM is final rule interpretar. I dont want to much of the game spent on correcting rules but i will 100% hear your opinion on a rule real quick if you find it unfair. 3. and lastly, have fun this is just a game after all lol IMPORTANT PREFACE: We will be using Roll20 only for its map and token features but not for its vc and video features, we will be using discord for those parts beacuse it allows for audio share and music to be used without a premium roll20 account. FEATURES AND DM STYLE: We'll have custom tokens, Battle maps for all occasions, and a few fully fleshed out premade characters for those new who arent sure how to make a character. As a DM i love focusing on roleplay and commonly use voices for each NPC. I LOVE the rule of cool and although i have my limits to it, will allow it in most not so outlandish scenarios. I do use ambiant music in the background of most moments and have diffrent playlists for diffent scenes.

How Nikki creates a safe table

Session 0 will happen a day before around 6pm. Ill be sending a Lines and Veils sheet to you as soon as i notice you joined the session. X, N, & O's can be texted to me if you begin getting uncomfortable at any time and if i continue with the content please understand i missed your message and your free to leave for a second or chip in how your feeling about whats being said or described. There will be a 15 minute break after the first hour of game time. During the campaign i hope youll be thinking of what you enjoyed and what you think mabey should be improved on of the session i love getting feedback to make the best sessions possible for you dudes.
