About the adventure
A classic Greyhawk campaign sets the stage for something larger...much larger... Brave the terrors of the Homlett countryside, beset by evil on all sides on your way to Nulb and The Temple Of Elemental Evil! UPDATE: We have completed The Temple Of Elemental Evil and Steading Of The Hill Giant Chief! The group is now making their way back to the free city of Greyhawk to consult with the last surviving member of the Circle Of Eight as they confront a greater threat...

About me
Hi there! I'm Jesse Burdick of Riverside Studios and I enjoy running epic games full of impactful storytelling, roleplay, and a more than healthy dose of action packed combat. I run games where your decisions matter and weave personal character story arcs into all of my campaigns. I have access to pretty much any D&D book from any edition, can create a custom campaign/game world for you and your group, have access to all content on DnDbeyond, a private Foundry VTT server, access to Tabletop Simulator/Talespire on Steam, an unlimited supply of audio/visual assets, and am currently working on lots of custom content for my Patreon (5e content and my own Sword and Sorcery series IRONWARD!). For those of you so inclined, I can also run Star Wars by Fantasy Flight Games/Genesys or deep dive into learning how to DM/GM any other game system you might desire that I have not yet tried. I am an avid Tolkien scholar, FWIW! I take a lot of pride in creating and custom tailoring games to the wants and needs of my players. Join me on StartPlaying and you will not regret it.

Creating your character
Character creation happens on Day 0 at the table! They will be created in game and together we will shape the world around them as we see just how they fit into it.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players can prepare by reviewing 2e rules and generally researching the history of Dungeons and Dragons! If you're a veteran of Ad&d 2e: bring your know-how! If you're a beginner: WELCOME!
What Jesse Burdick brings to the table
I will bring my Foundry table, hosted on The Forge, and decades of Dungeons and Dragons sources along with all necessary materials, voices, music, and sound effects.

How Jesse Burdick creates a safe table
Players can expect a gritty, visceral style of play where death trails not far behind. Quality roleplaying and well thought out combat is richly rewarded, and combat can be a failure state (i.e. you gave away your position, eschewed negotiation, fell for a trick, let your guard down).
