About the adventure
You shake your head. Feeling a fussy haze lifting. You’re sitting on a soft red couch with a few other humanoids, in some sort of waiting room. The sign on the open door says it's the "Office of Glorious Purpose." You don’t remember how you got here. Patting your clothes and extremities; you hear a metal clang and notice there’s a mechanical armband you don't recognise strapped to your upper arm. You start to struggle with it, attempting to tear it off. A young woman with a bright gold name badge that reads "Assistant Trebour" looks up from her desk across the room and clucks softly as she reaches over and flips a switch. Vents in the floor begin to emit a faint pink cloud...The scent is soft like a fresh-cut rose. You don't feel like fighting anymore. The room looks brighter somehow, more beautiful and you feel relaxed; at peace. She gestures to a video headset on the table next to you. You put it on. 🦾🦾🦾 In this Steampunk setting, you'll attempt to wrest yourself from the control of the Office of Glorious Purpose and Sky City's elite ruling class; escaping this flying cloud city altogether. You can accomplish your goal of freedom however you want. You can be WHO you want. There's no right way to do this campaign and failure is only in remaining a mindless workhouse drone forever. But be careful... they are always watching, monitoring what you do and quick to clamp down on overt magic use. Can you make the right connections and gather the right supplies to make your escape? Will you favour a stealthy extraction or plan an all-out revolt? The options are endless.
