How to prepare
Characters should be created/imported into the Foundry server at least one hour prior to the session. All players are required to have a working microphone as the session will be held over Discord Voice Chat. If the player has triggers they want to be taken into consideration during the session these should be disclosed to the DM ahead of time. No need for explanations as to why cat pictures are triggering for you Jim, but in order to offer a safe and fun space for everyone give the DM time to prep accordingly. When joining the Discord Server all players must agree with the Server Rules or won't be able to join the Voice Chat. These rules are: 1. Respect is Non-Negotiable No discrimination, harassment, or targeting based on race, gender, beliefs, or identity. Everyone deserves to feel safe and valued. Repeated disrespect will lead to permanent bans. 2. Respect the Schedule Sessions are planned ahead. Miss the 24-hour notice? No refunds, and three strikes means a ban. DM cancels? They’ll make it up to you in the form of reimbursement or a make up session (up to you). 3. The DM’s Word is Law While feedback on rules is welcome, the DM has the final say on rulings. Trust the process, even if it's not strictly "by the book." 4. Stay Engaged Pay attention, plan ahead, and act promptly. Combat and role-play run smoother when you’re focused—no scrolling Instagram mid-session! 5. We’re All Heroes Here No one player is the star. This is a collective story, and everyone gets their moment to shine. Shenanigans are great, but not at the expense of others’ fun. 6. Communicate Effectively Respect the flow. Don’t interrupt players or the DM. Ask politely if you need to chime in. Got a gripe? Message the DM privately. No need for real-life drama during game time. 7. Rule of Cool Over Rules Creativity rules! Don’t just play stats—if it sounds awesome, ask the DM. You might hear the golden words: "I'll allow it!" Sometimes the DM rolls for answers. When that happens, we honor the wisdom of the dice. 8. PG-13, Please Sex is implied but never detailed. F-bombs? Limited. Keep the game fun for everyone. 9. Don’t Jump the Gun No premature rolling! Let the DM guide when rolls are needed, because not everything needs a Nat 20. 10. Politics Stay Out No real-life politics or religion at the table. In-game debates? Sure, just keep it fictional!
What I provide
The DM will offer content sharing over D&D Beyond, pre-made characters for new players, custom maps & tokens, a Discord community of players. The sessions contain ambient sounds and music, animated effects on Foundry. My sessions involve tactical combat, immesive roleplay, and while we usually stick to Rules as Written and Rules as Intended, we promote the creativity of the players and indulge in Rule of Cool.
Gameplay details
Prior to the Session - Lines and Veils are set before the session. The player's shall inform the DM which topics are triggers for them so the adventure can steer away from these. During Session - X,N and O Cards + Open Door + Breaks. Sessions are held over Discord; At any time the player's can send the DM a message with X/N/O messages. Breaks will be provided during the session, but otherwise the players can simply take a moment off if they need to.

How will character creation work
Pre-Made Characters will be offered for every session for new players. New and pre-made characters will start off at the minimum level required for the adventure module. That is, for Tier 1 (APL3) modules new and pre-made characters will start at level 1, while on a Tier 2 (APL8) modules the pre-made and new characters will start off at level 5. Veteran players that want to bring their existing characters into the Adventurers League modules can do so by bringing their character into the corresponding D&D Beyond campaign. These characters cannot exceed the maximum level allowed by the module, for example, a level 6 character cannot be used on a Tier 1 module. Being an Adventurers League table characters should be based off the D&D 5e 2024 rules update. No third party content is allowed, but expanded official rules are allowed. This means that any player who desires to play a Bladesinger Wizard, or a Swashbuckler Rogue can do so as these belong to official Wizards of the Coast releases, but Blood Hunters from Critical Role content or Blade Breaker Figther from the Grim Hollow player options pack are not allowed.
