About the adventure
Are you READY TO ROCK? Or would you rather… rumble? Either way, welcome to the annual Battle of the Bards. You and your band, chosen randomly, must work together to make it to the final round of triple B - Barnaby’s Bard Battles in order to win respect, honor, and most importantly, tons and tons of gold. Destroy other bards in your path and take the number one spot. Don’t forget the final round though - there can be only one bard left standing. Best not to get too close to your band - no use for one hit wonders. Unless in the middle of battle that is.

How to prepare
Players will need a working mic but a webcam is not needed. While I would prefer you have a webcam to read your reactions, if you do not feel comfortable on camera that is completely understandable. You will need a free zoom account as well as a roll20 and dnd beyond account. When the games are created I will make sure to invite you to the campaigns so you can begin to make your character!
What I provide
I will provide all the virtual tabletops and the game materials we will need. You can feel free to roll on dnd beyond, a virtual dice roller, or with your own physical dice. I trust you to be honest regardless of the method you choose.
Gameplay details
We will have a session 0 before the actual sessions. This is in order to develop comfort and safety among the players as well as develop backstories and connections amongst player characters. We will also use a living lines & veils document that can change over the course of the game, as well as x,n, and o cards. After session we will use stars and wishes to discuss what the players enjoyed about the session as well as what they would like to strive for in the remaining sessions.

How will character creation work
Players will create a level 5 bard with a different subclass than other players in the game. During session 0 we will go deeper into character bonds and such, but feel free to dive in ahead of time. There will be more details regarding character building in the discord that I will link you to when you join the game. This adventure will be 6 sessions plus a session 0 so 7 sessions in total.
