About me
I got into tabletop RPGs back in high school about 20+ years ago, starting with Dungeons & Dragons 2nd Edition. Not long after, I moved behind the GM screen with D&D 3rd and 3.5, then spent around five years running Vampire: The Masquerade and other World of Darkness games. After a long break, I’ve recently found my way back and reignited that old spark. Last year I GMed a couple of one-shots of Warhammer 40K: Wrath & Glory, and now I’m thinking about setting up something more regular. I’m still fairly new to the Warhammer 40K universe, but I’ve really thrown myself into the lore and I’m loving it so far. Creating your character
In Traitor's Hymn, there will be no character creation process; you will choose from six premade characters provided before the game. Each character comes with predetermined stats, backstories, and unique abilities, allowing everyone to jump straight into the action without needing to refer to any specific books.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
1. Webcam – You’ll need a working webcam so we can see each other while we play. 2. Microphone – Make sure you have a good mic for clear audio; we want to hear all the excitement! 3. Discord Account – Set up a Discord account for voice chat during the game. 4. Foundry VTT – Check out Foundry Virtual Tabletop at foundryvtt.com if you’re new to it. 5. No Rules Reading Needed – Don’t worry about studying any rules beforehand; I’ll walk you through everything as we go. But you can always check out some cheatsheets to get a jump on things! 6. Character Choices – We’ll collaboratively choose from six premade characters before we start, so come ready to discuss your favorites! 7. Positive Vibes – Bring your best attitude! We’re here to have fun and enjoy the adventure together!
