2024 EDITION: Lost Mine Of Phandelver (For D&D Beginners)
Dungeons & Dragons 5e | Campaign
About the adventure
The most popular campaign for new players, "Lost Mine of Phandelver" will introduce you to all of the basics of playing Dungeons & Dragons: combat, roleplay, and exploration! Designed for those who have never played (or barely played) Dungeons & Dragons, we will do the first part (or adventure) of this campaign.* Characters will start at Level 1. After playing the first adventure, you will have the option to continue the campaign if you wish. The setting is in the Forgotten Realms, which is also one of the most popular settings in Dungeons and Dragons (as also seen in the 2023 "Dungeons & Dragons" movie and in the video game, "Baldur's Gate 3"). Before we start our game, I will walk you through how to create a character and the technology we will use. During gameplay, I will explain the rules as we go and give suggestions on what your characters can do. *You may hear phrases like one-shots, adventures, and campaigns. Here's an easy breakdown using a TV series to explain the differences: - One-shot: a single episode - Adventure: a season - Campaign: An entire series
This is a great game for anyone interested in learning D&D or has only played a few times before. We are using the new 2024 rules for this campaign.

What I provide
I will bring the source materials you need to play: The 2024 Player's Handbook and the "Lost Mine Of Phandelver" adventure book. We will use the following tools: *Owlbear Rodeo (VTT) *Discord (for Video Chat during gameplay and overall communications) *D&D Beyond (for campaign and character sheets) My GM'ing style is to support you all in learning how to play and to have fun while we play. I use music and character voices in my game style as I try to make it feel as real as possible.
