About the adventure

Remember... It was a quiet Saturday morning, in the midst of the first week of summer vacation. The 90's had just begun and the famed console wars raged in it's intensity. Everywhere you looked, ads announced a plethora of new video games being released, all vying for your attention. The previous evening, your folks had returned from a mom-and-pop video store to rent some VHS cassettes of their favorite films. In their stop there they opted to return with a little surprise for you. A cartridge, often grey, this one was painted gold, usable for your 16bit gaming system. It was for a video game called *An Errant Stories: A Fabula Ultima Adventure* Before you even inserted the cartridge into the gaming unit, you hastily peruse the instruction booklet which had come alongside the game. Images of high fantasy and adventure, depicted in watercolor hues of a Japanese style of art known as anime, filled the booklet. Valiant heroes, technological wonders and malevolent villains sent your thoughts to ponder of what grand adventure lay to be explored within the game. You set the booklet aside, blew into the cartridges opening -in order to clear any dust particles that could interrupt the connection- and reach for the power button on the console. You press the button marked "Power." The machine comes alive. Excitedly you grab the controller and as the lights of your television unit begin to display the logos of the developers, your hear aetherial music swell up. On the screen the image of the logo Fabula Ultima appears. Then the title card of Errant Stories appears, encompassing the entirty of the television's screen. Beneath it, in simple lettering, reads... *"Press Start ."* This, you understand now more so than then, was that adventure you've always wanted. Your adventure awaits... ~~~ Fabula Ultima is a JRPG inspired TTRPG. Individuals from all experiences are welcome to join in on the adventure.

About me

Storytelling has always been a passion of mine. Caught within the stirrings of a narrative, one can lose themselves and be spirited away to worlds beyond one's own imagination. Within my 20+ years of engaging TTRPGs I have had the pleasure and enjoyment of being audience to the captivating stories told by my fellow players. It is of little surprise that it is for that very reason that I have come to love being a GM. As a GM I am patient with players; both newcomers and the experienced. I always do my best to provide as much support to the players as I am able. It is a means to facilitate their needs and requirments making them as comfortable as possible to enjoy the gaming experience. Being hospitable breeds comfort and comfort is a key component to an enjoyable evening enagaging a TTRPG. I enagage the players with a means to immerse them within the scene. This will often be done via: emphasizing the tone of the scene with vivid depictions, impersonating the various NPCs which players encounter, delving into the setting that the players may be better acquainted, etc. Thus, if you'd like to sit at my table for an immersive experience please let me know.
