About the adventure
Evil has won. The world is in shambles. Pockets of resistance and survivors exist, but the biggest unified front of free peoples doesn't have the strength to push back. Rumor has it they believe their walls will hold when the tides advance. Or maybe they have some secret plan. Who knows? Could be propaganda and just another trap set to claim your soul. Maybe you heard a call to help Adyta and defend the walls. Maybe you're on the run. Maybe you got lucky and the caravan happened to pass close to your town and you just wanted to try anything to change things. Or maybe you're one of those who sees opportunity and is waiting to take advantage of these wasteful people. Magics and war have changed landscapes, and if you happened to have any knowledge of history or nature, as the miles go on things don't line up the way your ancestors and tomes of knowledge claimed. And then there's the Purple Fog that rolls in just when things couldn't get worse..

Creating your character
Character creation happens before first session. Stats are decided based on player preference but typically roll 4 keep highest 3 and reroll 1's. Characters must be rolled on foundry with someone there to confirm roles. This world currently (temporarily?) does not have clerics!
A living world! Will you rebuild or help bring the fall? Survive and grow in an ongoing years planned campaign with over 2000 hours of crafting put into this world! As part of your background i need to know about how many people lived in your settlement or hideout or caravan or wherever you came from. This includes any outside your home you're aware of. This caps at a maximum of 70 grand total per player/ settlement as I am keeping a private running tally of the number of humanoids alive on the planet.

Preparing for the session
Microphone ready and basic understanding of Foundry. Preferably familiarize yourself with the rules, can help you learn the system via mock combat and cheat sheets as well as help create your characters to help them fit within the world/narrative :)

How Synppai creates a safe table
Players can expect combat, roleplay, hex crawls, permanent changes to the world based on decisions made. Before your first game you will be taken through a mock combat to familiarize yourself with the system. Games will be streamed on twitch and archived on YouTube, potentially clips made of impactful moments! Postgame chat about session is common, and there is a play-by-post for between game roleplay off stream.
