About the adventure
Opportunities to improve one’s life are few and far between in your village. However, the discovery of the ancient goblin stronghold of Khor Badhir comes near home offers the chance of a lifetime. Sure, the chances may be slim, and your life may not last that long should you chose to delve…but what choice do you really have? It’s ancient horrors or doing the laundry; riches and fame or marrying your cousin—need I say more? Come see how deep you can delve and how much loot you can recover from the dungeon of Khor Badhir! This one-shot will take 2 to 3 game sessions to complete. Once you join the game, you'll receive an email with a link to the Discord server I use to manage my games.

Meet the Game Master
About me
I've been a GM since ~1996, and I run the DM Lair YouTube channel. I run games because I love providing an awesome game experience for my players (and because being a GM is way more fun for me). My games are characterized by a mix of all three pillars (combat, exploration, and social interaction) and an emphasis on player agency (the freedom to make decisions and to experience the results of said decisions). I tend more toward a gritty game than otherwise.

Creating your character
Players should create one main character and a few backup characters prior to the game. This is a great, easy-to-use generator: https://shadowdarklings.net/create
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Microphones and Cameras are both REQUIRED. If you're pounding a cheeseburger or BBQ ribs and need to turn the camera off, that's cool; but cameras should be on for most of gameplay. Players should create a few characters prior to the game and load them into the Foundry game to which I'll provide a link.
What Luke brings to the table
I'll provide the VTT environment.

How Luke creates a safe table
We'll have one scheduled break mid-session, and players are welcome to take quick bios or snack runs as desired during the game. Gameplay will only stop during the scheduled break.
