About the adventure
Welcome to Barovia my Chaotic Creatures! This land is controlled by the vampire Strahd von Zarovich, who also happens to be your boss. Whether you be vampire, werewolf, or some other denizen of the dark, Strahd has given you everything you need and free access to Barovia. You just need to follow his rules and make sure no heroes interfere with his reign. Since it’s rare for do-gooders to find themselves here, you are able to feed and party at your leisure. Even though the people here are quite dull, your life isn’t too shabby. But, word has it that three very heroic types have been meddling around and causing the wrong kind of trouble. You must stop them or risk losing your way of life. (Based on the Curse of Strahd module, but you don’t need previous knowledge of the module in order to play. Open for all experience types, I’m happy to teach new players how to play)

Hi there, I’m Luna (She/He/They) I’m so excited to be your GM! I am passionate about storytelling and I love the collaborative nature of TTRPGs. I strive to make sure all my players feel important and necessary in the stories we tell together. I implement safety tools to make sure everyone’s boundaries are respected. It’s important to me that queerness, disability, and race are represented in the stories I tell. I am also committed to always listening and growing to make sure my table is safe and fulfilling for marginalized people. Creating your character
Characters will be created together in session 0 We will role for stats or use standard array (I'm flexible if you have a preferred method) This campaign will start at level 3 (we will level up as we go) You can use fast character, D&D beyond, or any other method of creating and storing your character sheet.
While there are horror themes present, I plan for this to be on the comedic side. I was inspired by What We Do in the Shadows and Dimension 20’s Coffin Run.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Before Session 0: You will need to have a discord account, a microphone, and webcam for our video calls on discord. Before Session 1: You will need a playrole.com account and a character sheet (we will make characters during session 0)
What Luna brings to the table
What I bring to the game: -Custom portraits of NPCs (no ai or art theft here) -Quick sketches of player characters (with the option to commission more detailed portraits) -Maps of combat locations -A comedic horror setting -Dynamic NPCs with various motivations - The ability to roll with whatever the PCs want to do and play into the jokes I enjoy running very roleplay heavy games, with occasional combat to help raise the stakes. I view the rules of the game as useful guidelines, so I encourage players to get creative in how they solve problems and we'll figure out together if that’ll work for our game (even if it defies the rules). Character relationships are important in my games, so I will help facilitate all kinds of relationships (romantic, platonic, familial, adversarial, etc) with NPCs and/or PCs (with everyone’s consent)

How Luna creates a safe table
Session 0 will include: -Lines and Veils (will be discussed as a group, but there is the option to message me privately and I will make a document with all lines and veils to be made available to everyone) -Discussion on what to do if you're uncomfortable or triggered -Information on NPCs the PCs would know -Character creation/creating connections with other characters There will be at least one break scheduled in each session, but players are welcome to take more if needed. After each session, we will take 5-10 minuets to debrief what happened. I can spend more time if needed.
