About the adventure
There's nothing better than a summer day on the Chicago City Water Front—until vaesen (mythical creatures of myth and legend)—start crawling out of the river. Thankfully, several Thursday's Children are there and ready to deal with them. A modern day Vaesen session in the fantastic city of Chicago. Pre-gens provided, but creative character creation encouraged.

About me
My partner jokes that becoming a GM my final pokemon form. I started playing TTRPGs in 2017, but has been a lifelong sci-fi and fantasy nerd and actually wrote her doctoral dissertation on TTRPGS. I am a professional GM I bring over 20+ year of acting and improvisation to my GMing and I love teaching folks new games and creating stories that spark their excitement. I'm a huge fan of indie games and loves to introduce new and seasoned players alike to creative one-shots that help folks build confidence around their own ability to role-play and (hopefully) GM. When I'm not rolling dice, I am improviser and ensemble member of Malarkey Comedy. You can usually find me scouting locations for her ongoing four year campaign of Monster of the Week that’s set in an alternative spooky Chicago.

I will have pre-gens available, but will work with players to create characters before the session if they would like!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players need a webcam, mic, and reliable internet. I encourage players to read about Vaesen's rules and setting, but can teach the game as it goes.
What Suz PhDM brings to the table
I bring a love of Chicago to the great game of Vaesen in this session. I'll use pictures and images from the city to help invite you into the setting, as well as ambient music and rich characterization of NPCs!
