About the adventure
This is a level 1-20 campaign that spans the course of two 5th Edition modules: 'Phandelver & Below: The Shattered Obelisk' and 'Vecna: Eve of Ruin'. This is an excellent introductory adventure to the world's greatest roleplaying game: In the first part of the adventure, you and your allies are dealing with problems in and around the quiet town of Phandalin after being hired to escort some goods there. As the story progresses, there turns out to be a much deeper plot lurking below. In the later half of the campaign, you catch the attention of some powerful individuals who recruit you to foil an evil plot surrounding the game's most notorious villain - Vecna. This section will see you visiting other campaign settings including Greyhawk, Eberron and Dragonlance in a full-on tour of the many worlds of D&D. In this campaign you will: 🥊 Fight some goblins 🧙♂️ Imprison a wizard 👻 Try not to anger a banshee 🧟 Go Rick Grimes on some zombies 🐉 Escape a dragon . . . hopefully 👽 Meet psionic aliens 🧑🌾 Save a town from sure destruction 🧛 Outrace a vampire 🤴 Meet with royalty 🤖 Visit steampunk world 🦇 Visit creepy world 🎲 Visit vanilla D&D world 😈 Come back and kill the dragon because you're a higher level now 💀 Try to kill an immortal god of secrets Come have some fun, make some friends and save the realms! For newcomers to the hobby, I'll be with you every step of the way to help you learn the rules and experience the epicness of the Forgotten Realms and beyond!

How to prepare
1️⃣ You will need a working microphone. If you have background noise where you'll be playing, the 'Push to Talk' setting on Discord is preferred 2️⃣ You will need a PC or Mac running Chrome, Firefox, Opera, or Edge with 'hardware acceleration' enabled. 3️⃣ You will need a free D&D Beyond account. The link to my D&D Beyond 'campaign' will be sent when you sign up, which will give you access to a plethora of character options. Note that not all of these options will be avaible for use in this campaign. Gameplay details
✔️ BREAKS. Each 3-4 hour session will include a 10-15 minute break mid-session. ✔️ STARS AND WISHES. At the end of the game, I will ask each player what things they really enjoyed and what they would like to see in future sessions. ✔️ OPEN DOOR. You may leave the table at any time for your mental health without any judgement. ✔️ LINES AND VEILS. Lines and veils are things that players may be uncomfortable with during play. You can easily establish your lines and veils on your intake form (see #🧙onboarding in my Discord!). If a new line or veil presents itself during the course of your campaign, feel free to reach out to your DM.

How will character creation work
✔️ Characters will be created (starting at 1st level) in D&D Beyond. ✔️ For NEW Players: Pre-made characters are available. Otherwise, character creation can be facilitated via a "1-on-1" session with the DM prior to your first session or with the group during Session 0. ✔️ For EXPERIENCED Players: Character creation can be done independently. Read below. ✔️ Ability Scores are determined by either Standard Array (15, 14, 13, 12, 10, 8) or the Point Buy System ✔️ Allowed references include the 2014 Player's Handbook, Xanathar's Guide to Everything and Tasha's Cauldron of Everything. Use of other reference material must be approved by the DM. ✔️ When leveling up your character, take the 'average' hit dice value + CON modifier (as automatically provided by D&D Beyond).
