About the adventure
Step into the mysterious realm of Barovia where horror and danger lie around every corner! Uncover the secrets of Ravenloft under the ever watchful gaze of the ruler of these lands, the Countess Strahd von Zarovich. Fate has bound you both together, setting you upon a crash course guaranteed to collide in confrontation! Will you survive? Or succumb to the powers of the vampire like so many before you? Curse of Strahd brings a dark, rich fantasy atmosphere to the game and is by far my favorite D&D module and setting. This campaign will take players from levels 3 to 10 as you criss cross the gloomy hope starved lands of Barovia to discover its secrets and thwart the plans of the Countess Strahd von Zarovich. I have made several modifications to the original module to improve on some of its aspects and add more to the high stakes feel of the campaign. The obvious biggest change being Strahd, this change significantly impacts the story, relationships, and motivations behind the Dark Lady of Ravenloft. This campaign welcomes new and experienced players! As well as players who have already run through Curse of Strahd, with all the changes made you're guaranteed to have a very different experience this time around! We'll be using the new 2024 Players Handbook new classes and races for this campaign! You are of course welcome to mix and match subclasses and races from the rest of 5th Edition and I look forward to seeing what everyone comes up with for the campaign! We'll have a free session zero to go over expectations and make characters together using the new system before playing! Can't wait to meet ya!

Hey there! My names Jordan, I'm a lover of tabletop roleplaying games both in person and online. I've been DMing for just on a decade now and love every little bit of it. I try to bring a fun and goofy environment with plenty of room for serious when the mood calls for it. I love to take a players backstory and twist the story to accommodate and intertwine the two. Creating your character
Starting level is 3 and characters will be made during a Session Zero where we can all check out the new stuff together! For stats, players can either roll, point buy, or take the standard array, if wishing to roll, this will be done during Session Zero. All official D&D content new and old (minus Autognomes) is on the table.
In progress campaign, currently still very early on and you haven't missed much! No time like the present to jump in! Party has just reached the Vallaki. Level 3 - 10 Come, journey into the mists of Barovia with me, I promise to hold the lantern high! Or will I?
What to expect
Preparing for the session
A microphone and discord account are required. This is a beginner friendly campaign, knowing the rules ahead of time isn't necessary and I'm more than happy to help teach new folks along the way!
What Mr Jordan brings to the table
I have detailed battlemaps for the campaign and I also utilize sync-tube for ambient and combat music throughout the adventure. Spooky music is the theme for Curse of Strahd, it wouldn't be the same without it!

Ahead of time I will privately discuss with players content they do not wish to be included in the campaign so that I can write the campaign around that. Curse of Strahd is a fairly dark campaign but most anything can be worked around with no issue!
