About the adventure
Learn to play Pathfinder 2e (and have a great time doing it) with the Beginner Box on Foundry Virtual Tabletop 🎲 We'll also use the Faes AR fantasy outfit creator app to make the webcam session more engaging and fun 🧝💀👑👿🧙♂️ Your party has been hired by Tamily Tanderveil to figure out who, or what, is stealing large quantities of fish from the storeroom beneath her market. A hole smashed in the wall of the storeroom reveals a dark cavern extending beneath the town. Do you dare to brave its depths to solve the mystery? This challenging introductory adventure can be completed in 3-5 sessions. By the end of the dungeon, you will know the fundamentals of the Pathfinder 2e system and the basics of Foundry VTT. You'll need teamwork and tactics to triumph! For those that want to continue after the first adventure, we can transition into another campaign directly.

How to prepare
You will need: 1. A webcam and a mic. 2. A free Forge account to join the virtual tabletop. 3. A free Faes AR alpha account (get it at www.faes.ar). (All of the software is Windows and Mac compatible) You can learn the rules as we play. You can read the Pathfinder 2e Player Core book on your own as we play, but isn't necessary for this adventure.
What I provide
I provide: 1. Foundry VTT (virtual tabletop) with high quality integrated video on the VTT. No need to tab between windows! 2. The PF2e Beginner Box module, which includes premade characters, beautiful maps, tokens, music and ambient sounds. 3. The ability to import characters from pathbuilder2e.com, for those that want to make their own characters. 4. A thorough knowledge of the Pathfinder 2e rules relevant to this this adventure. 5. I do voices as well as I can. I roleplay in first and third person. 6. A friendly, fun, engaged, and immersive atmosphere at the table. The adventure is a classic and straightforward dungeon crawl. Combat will be tactical and intense. Even though this is a beginner adventure, I run dungeons as lived-in environments. For example, if your party makes a lot of noise, something dwelling nearby might come to investigate. Your party can also use the dynamic environment to your advantage, though! The dungeon contains challenging encounters, and character death is a possibility, but craftiness and teamwork should see you through. I play Rules as Written and don't fudge die rolls, but I also let you improvise. "You can certainly try!"
Gameplay details
In Session Zero, we will get to know each other a bit as you choose your characters. We'll get our tech set up, make our costumes, and make custom character tokens. Then we'll go over the character sheets and hop right in! At the end of each session, we will review with Stars and Wishes. This means that people can say what they enjoyed (stars), and express what they would like to see (wishes).

How will character creation work
The adventure comes with a balanced selection of strong premade characters which you can choose during Session 0. We will start at level one. You are also free to create your own on pathbuilder2e.com, if you like. If you want to create your own character, please limit yourself to the remastered rules from the Player Core book for this adventure.
