Players may find similarities in the campaigns but at its core The Seeds of Chaos take precedence. Experience an entirely different take on this classic adventure. The Seeds of Chaos is an entirely Homebrewed adventure with political intrigue within Waterdeep & downtime activities for players to experience all aspects of D&D. This campaign is set to go beyond level 12+ with the story being written as the players make their choices. Players who've played the Dragon of Icespire Peak are welcome to join this adventure as well as the story features an alternate timeline. Estimated Campaign Length: 80+ sessions or about a year and a half to completion. I've had a wonderful time playing in Hanen's game and highly recommend him to others! He seamlessly weaves backstories into the plot and creates very fun and engaging combat encounters that have unique and interesting mechanics!

Hanen was able to take PC back stories and weave them into the game in a way that was so satisfying. I am an avid note taker and mystery solver, but still found myself surprised by the twists, the mystery unraveled at a good pace and never felt predictable. Hanen has a cool variety of mechanics, puzzles, scenarios, and combats that always keep things fresh. Even in game travel is made to feel impactful.

How to prepare
You will need is a working mic, discord and a stable connection. Some knowledge on Roll20 can be helpful. Otherwise, Roll20 will also be explained in detail during session 0 as the GM will provide tutorials on using Roll20 optimally e.g Moving character tokens, Using rulers/tools & helpful commands! Once you have signed up be sure to join using the Discord link provided to you on your adventure page! More details will be provided there!

How will character creation work
Characters will begin at Level 1, and we'll walk through expectations and backstories during Session 0. Stats, Point Buy or Standard Array. Character creation will happen on Roll20 or Dndbeyond, with guidance for both new and experienced players. All published official content is allowed, but homebrew or third-party material must be cleared with the GM first. If you're a newer player or unsure about backstory or build, the GM is more than happy to assist before or during Session 0.
