There are no heroes coming to save you from your woes. How to prepare
This game will be played over a video call on Discord! For this, you will need: - A microphone - A camera - A free account on dndbeyond.com - A free account on discord.com Characters will be created during a free session 0. Please feel free to bring any character concepts you have and be ready to change or adjust things to best intertwine them with the setting and other PCs.
What I provide
- All D&D 5e player character options on D&D Beyond published by Wizards of the Coast up to Tasha's Cauldron of Everything. If I'm missing something you'd like to play with, I will add it to my collection for you to use for free! - Full maps, character tokens, monster stat blocks and more from the Curse of Strahd to use on D&D Beyond Maps.
Gameplay details
ššššØš«š š°š š©š„šš²: During session 0, we will set up basic lines and veils. Please message me ahead of time if you have any questions about my content warnings. But in general, my Lines & Veils setup is: Lines: - No rape - No child abuse Veils: - Sex and torture can happen off camera, fading to black. Finally, we will use the Stars and Wishes system to encourage the kinds of content we DO want to see! Our initial stars and wishes will be discussed during session 0 and returned to as play goes on! šš®š«š¢š§š š©š„šš²: X, N, and O cards will be available via Discord chat. You will always be able to pause play or change something, no questions asked!

How will character creation work
During a free session 0, we will make characters together and tie them all into the setting. Unlike the default mode of character creation for Curse of Strahd, your characters will be from Barovia itself. Your classes, races, and backgrounds will all be used to illustrate unique version of famous locations and their people in the land of Barovia. Choose between creating your own Barovian hero or step into the shoes of fan-favorite characters from the Curse of Strahd such as Ezmerelda D'Avenir, Victor Vallakovich, Ireena Kolyana, and more! - Characters will start at level 3. - Ability Scores will use a standard array of stats. - Character sheets will be saved on D&D Beyond. Character options from any book published by Wizards of the Coast can be used! We'll figure out together how your character fits into our unique version of Barovia.
