Stand against the giants and dragons, stop their war before they do irreversible damage, and learn the true motivations behind their conquests. 🐲Slay dragons! 🏹 🏰 Raid the halls of giants! 🧙♂️ 🎭Attend High Council meetings!🤴 👣Explore the Sword Coast! 🌍 🎲Custom Rules for Expanded Backgrounds and Epic Combat! 🎯 🏳🌈Inclusive and Judgement-free Game! 🌻 Combining the Tyranny of Dragons and Storm King's Thunder campaigns into one seamless grand narrative, this campaign will see your group of novice adventurers become epic heroes capable of saving the entire Sword Coast from certain doom! This campaign will be using the officially published books: - Storm King's Thunder - Tyranny of Dragons (Hoard of the Dragon Queen and Rise of Tiamat) Due to the open-world nature of this campaign, I will additionally be using plenty of custom content and may consider using side quests and some content from other official modules depending on player interest. The most likely modules that may be referenced are - Waterdeep: Dragon Heist - Baldur's Gate: Descent into Avernus - Tales from the Yawning Portal

Creating your character
During our first meeting, Session 0, we will make characters together. Characters will be level 3, use point buy for stats, and start with some additional gold for starting equipment. I will provide several resources to flesh out character backstories and personalities, so feel free to come with an idea for your backstory. This campaign will have a heavy focus on roleplaying so extra time will be given to character creation to build connections to the main story.

You will need a working microphone and a Discord account. That's it! During our first meeting I can help with everything else including explaining character creation via Roll20.

How Dawn creates a safe table
Players can expect a rich open world with a grand storyline that keeps things focused but not railroaded. There will be plenty of roleplaying opportunities, engaging combat encounters, and exploration of the wilds as you travel across the Sword Coast. This adventure includes some epic dungeons and fights, but there will be plenty of room to focus on character goals and immerse yourself in the world. As part of this, the campaign and variant rules may be altered subject to players' wishes. Ultimately, you, the players, will have the final say in the type of story that we tell and the type of adventure that we embark on. This campaign will have a heavy emphasis on roleplaying and character backstory. You are the main characters and your actions and roleplaying choices will always drive the story.
