About the adventure
You are an Acolyte in the service of the Emperor's Inquisition. You stand in the front line of a great and secret war where your duty is to hunt out the foul stench of heresy, the vile alien, and the twisted influence of Chaos. You will tread where others fear, venturing to distant planets, ancient space hulks and the unsavoury depths of the under-hive. You will never know fame nor reward, yet if you stand resolute your deeds will be whispered to the God-Emperor of Mankind and your name will be revered for millennia.

About me
I first stumbled upon roleplaying games almost 15 years ago and I was taken since the first moment. Playing as a dwarf adventurer, vampire businessman or a jedi knight was amazing experience, but I soon found my true passion in being game master. I have since led a lot of games, both for my friends and for new players at conventions. And in the past year I started to host games online. Good story is the most important element for me in RPG, but player agency is a close second. You should always be able to to make interesting choices, to go off course and chart your own way through the narrative.

Creating your character
Character creation will happen in session 0 (or individually if someone joins later).
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Pc with browser and microphone is needed, webcam and stable internet connection is appreciated. I will explain the rules at the start and handle character creation at the same time. Dice rolling and character sheets will be handled by Foundry VTT, videocall through Discord.
What captain66 brings to the table
I will bring VTT, tokens, maps and rules and sourcebooks. And also experience and hopefully fun.

How captain66 creates a safe table
The harsh and grimdark setting of Warhammer 40k tends to a lot of heavy themes, though it usually explores them with a dose of dark humor. A lot of specific content I warned above can be omitted or lessened depending on players' wishes. The game will use the new Imperium Maledictum rules but stay in the Calixis sector of its Dark Heresy predecessor.
