About me
It all started a long long time ago in the darkest of dungeons. A Teenagers basement! As a kid of about 13 I was first introduced to D&D by my cousin. We spent countless hours in his basement rolling dice, making up grand adventures and escaping the dregs of the world outside. Since those glory days of AD&D- 3.5e life inevitably pulled us in separate directions away from that nerdy haven on our own adventures in reality. I always missed it, and I had the same problem that most likely brought you to this site. Where can I find people to play with and even more importantly who will DM? Finally with the release of 5e I decided I had waited long enough! I would take up the mantle and bear the burden of the crown so that others would have to wait no longer! I began to consume every piece of content I could find! I binged on critical role, practiced goblin voices in the shower, listened to podcasts and youtube tutorials, read every source book I could find, scoured reddit and the dms guild, and performed villainous monologues to my dog. All of it to slowly hone my skills as a storyteller, nay a story-crafter! As a musician, twitch content creator, aspiring voice actor and teacher I strive to utilize all my skillsets in my games. I have been playing TTRPG's for about 20 years and GM/DM'ing for about 10. I wont lie when I say it’s a labor of love, but I guide others to a treasure I rarely get to possess and that is its own reward! My hesitant step into the seat of Dungeon Master has become my obsession I have collected miniatures, terrain, books, lore, pages and pages of homebrew content, and a roll 20 account brimming with battle maps and adventures! I have DM'd for both veterans and 1st time players and look forward to crafting stories with you too!

I've struggled a long time with finding a game that didn't break down in arguments or end early due to some reason or another. This ended abruptly when I decided to buy a slot in one of Paul's games. Paul is a true gentleman and a scholar, with an even-tempered hand and no fear in dealing with grinding gears at the table before the machine falls apart. You're in for a true adventure with lovely music, expressive voices and exciting quests above and beyond the modules they're based in. If you just want a good game with a reasonable, level-headed Dungeon Master, you've clicked on the correct name.
Paul is a great GM, even just two sessions in I'm having a fantastic time. He does a fantastic job of describing what's going on and manages the group really well to the point that no one feels left out. Even in secctions where you're not intereacting he makes you feel engaged in what's happening.
Paul is a great dm, as a new player he helped me understand the rules and create an interesting character. During his games he creates a compelling experience that draws you in whether that is creating unique voices and personalities for npc’s, working your characters backstory into the game, or balancing fair but difficult combat encounters. I would 100% recommend paul no matter if you are a new player or an experienced one.
Character creation
Creating your character
A session 0 will provide time for choosing classes, races etc. Choices are only restricted to my shared compendium on roll 20 (I have quite a few options and most of the books). Pre made characters brought to the game must use standard array or point buy, all published WoTC content is acceptable. Follow the links sent when joining for further detail.
Current Party: Dwarven Battlemaster, Human Paladin, Human Bard, Halfling Psyblade Rogue. Venture into the mist-shrouded land of Barovia, where danger lurks at every turn. After escaping a haunted death house, the party has pledged to protect the maiden Irena from the clutches of the vampire lord Strahd. Guided by a mysterious Tarokka reading and pursued by werewolves, they've arrived at the walled town of Vallaki, seeking answers and refuge. Will you brave the darkness to help them uncover the secrets of Strahd's curse and defend Irena? Adventure awaits—if you dare!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
- Make a free roll20 account (link for game will be sent prior to session) - Make a free Discord account ( link for server will be sent prior to session, game info will be posted there) - Microphone required (always a good idea to test the connection through the settings in discord prior to the game, we will use push to talk to avoid talking over one another in game and eliminate possible background noise) -A solid internet connection (will make your gaming experience more enjoyable) - A webcam is a bonus but not a requirement. ( sometimes its hard to read the room as a GM if we cant see facial expression cues, but some people don't like to be on camera and that's totally fine.)
What NothingsImPaulssible brings to the table
I own the module on my Pro Roll20 account, it comes with beautifully illustrated color maps, tokens, dynamic lighting, handouts and more! (We will use in game assets for rolling dice using the 5e charactermancer) Supplemental content I also provide through Roll 20 compendium sharing: - Players handbook - Monster Manual - Mordekainen's Tome of Foes - Tome of Beasts (kobold press) - Volo's Guide to Monsters - Xanathars Guide to Everything - Tasha's Cauldron of Everything - Eberron- Rising From The Last War - Explorers Guide To Wildemount - Lost Mine of Phandelver - Tomb of Annihilation - Call of The Netherdeep - Curse of Strahd - Dungeon tiles, tactical maps (Reincarnated) as well as many Gabriel Pickard quick encounter and town/city/hamlet maps, interactive maps - Spell templates, animated spell templates, animated weather effects, Asset packs for dungeon dressings. - Tokens galore for varied character and monster art. - Cze and Peku map collection (Used mostly in my home brew campaign, they are truly stunning maps) - Tom Cartos map collection ( varied and endlessly useful maps, also mostly used in homebrew) -Gabriel pickard maps (many varied maps of the wilds and towns, great for random encounters)
Homebrew rules
- Feats limited list of "flavor" feats free at 1st level. (in games using 2014 rules. New 2024 rules provide feats as a background/origin which can be switched out for one on my list) - Potions Healing potions may be taken as a bonus action instead of an action. If taken as a full action you gain maximum healing from said potion. All other potions with spell like effects are taken as a bonus action. - Healing spells outside of battle heal the maximum amount but take longer to cast. Casting time listed+10min

How NothingsImPaulssible creates a safe table
This module is made by Wizard of the coast and meant to be comfortable for everyone. Yet it is Gothic horror and contains some themes that I would say are rated R. Typical gameplay can be difficult fights against undead foes, roleplaying with gritty and dark NPC's, uncovering mysteries and overcoming hardships. (Some content in this campaign may be uncomfortable for some players, but are highly negotiable. The most important thing for me at my table is that the players have fun and get to cooperatively build a story together that they will remember fondly. Still I feel its good to list some content aspects upfront so a session 0 will when we discuss lines and veils etc. Please don't ever hesitate to send me a private message, a whisper in chat etc. or speak with me in private before or after the game if you would like to keep things discretionary) We will use lines and veils to establish boundaries in session 0 Stars and wishes will be done at the end of each session to help me better steer toward your personal likes and dislikes as players! - A note on play style I typically voice NPC's and love to roleplay, no matter what I will be doing my best at that because its what I enjoy. I prefer if you do too, but if you just want to smash monsters with a sword, grab loot and take a narrator stance when talking about your character I'm cool with that too. My expectations for players is to treat everyone including myself with the same respect they are given and to maintain general decorum and immersion at the virtual "table".
