Creating your character

A variety of pregenerated characters is available. There is a 'Session Zero' where payers will have the opportunity to create or customize characters and learn the basics.

Preparing for the session

This campaign uses Discord for audio with Foundry VTT for dice rolling and maps. Players need a Microphone, as well as the Discord App- No other software or Books are needed to play. I have been an Earthdawn superfan for 20+ years and I love to share my favorite RPG with new players. Occasional guest illustrators and writers render your deeds into cool images and tales.

How Far Scholar creates a safe table

This Adventure is the starting point of an epic campaign with near-limitless gameplay. It leans heavily on "Suspense" and touches on some adult themes. A selection of pregenerated characters is available. But there is a 'Session 0' where we go over some of the basics of Earthdawn and you will have an opportunity to create a character if you prefer. I am a very 'pro player' Gamemaster. My games are generally very social with a lot of problem solving. Players receive special rewards when their character does something especially clever or cool. I will consider most reasonable player requests. It is my intention to tell a compelling story that is heroic and fun. That said, I will absolutely let the dice maim or kill your character for the sake of a good story. Play smart. Make a plan. Don't be a dick.
