About the adventure

As a storyteller I enjoy the collaborative storytelling process that goes into each of my campaigns. When writing your stories all I ask is that you thoroughly explore your characters and their backgrounds. So that I as a storyteller can return that same energy when writing NPC's and the encounters that you'll inevitably experience on your journey through the Sword Coast! -

Theater of the Mind
“Theater of the Mind” uses little to no visuals for scene settings and combat. Instead, the narrative imagery comes from the Game Master’s descriptions and character action and movement comes from Players’ descriptions.
Our party consists of the following, - Elf Ranger - Dwarf Sorcerer - Half-Elf Druid - Tiefling Wizard - Githyanki Paladin - NEW PLAYER (TBD) As of last session, the party is making their way throughout the entirety of the Sword Coast in search of a way to cure the ailments of their loved ones. They've recently found themselves in the City of Arabel and are slowly beginning to unravel the cities dark secrets..

How to prepare
Webcams are optional, microphones are a must have. It's expected for players to have a basic knowledge of 5e rules and all character sheets will be handled via DNDBeyond but this will be covered in session zero.
What I provide
I will be bringing custom maps, DNDBeyond assets, VTT resources, and immersive ambience.
Gameplay details
Character Creation will be handled in Session 0. At that time we'll go over introductions, clarify certain mechanics/rules that might come up during session. Players should also have a general idea for a character before the session. This will be a free session that can last up to a maximum of two hours. Any other clarifications can be handled directly to me. (Consent Sheet Forms must be completed before Session 0) Players can expect a laxed environment as this game is fashioned for beginners. We're all here to learn and have fun!

How will character creation work
Character Creation will happen during session zero and we will be utilizing DNDBeyond. If there's something particular you want to use for a character, do let me know and I can make sure that I have access to that resource. Characters start at Level 3!
