About the adventure

Recommended for intermediate to advanced players, though there is always a place for beginners. Terra, the city of the crescent lake, was once a beautiful and cultural city for humanoids up until the rise of the Four Horsemen of Hell. Including the Artsy Rosegolds, Scholarly School of Silence, Menacing Masks and Aristocratic Children of the Four Pillars of Creation, the Four Horseman maintain a tight grip over the city's function and the people's comings and goings. All with their own agendas in mind, they aim to obtain full control over the city by any means necessary...

How to prepare

Have prepared a DnD beyond and Roll20 account, then look up the beyond20 chrome extension and install it to chrome (all free). Next, be sure to have a discord account set up where I can easily send you messages and invite you to my server. After that, you're pretty much good to go!

What I provide

I will be using the Beyond20 chrome extension to link DnD beyond and Roll20. I have premium subscriptions for both, and also plenty of expanded content books on DnD beyond for my players to use.

Gameplay details

I will be holding a session zero for my characters so we can all get a sense of what we are and aren't comfortable with. The first step to having a fun game is making sure it can be actually be fun for the players and DM.

How will character creation work

We can go over character creation before, during, and after session 0 - prior to the start of the first official session. For stats, my players will be given three options: 1. 4d6 drop lowest is the most common way of determining stats. 2. Standard array, fairly simple and reliable. 3. 6d20. Extremely high risk and reward. If a player opts for options 1 or 3, then they will have to take the rolls they're given if their modifiers add up to +2 or higher. If otherwise, they will have the choice of substituting their chosen method for Standard Array. All rolls will be made in ways where I can see them, or where a record of them I kept that I can easily access (I.e. Roll20).
