Battle for Olympus -- A Percy Jackson Adventure

Battle for Olympus -- A Percy Jackson Adventure

Dungeons & Dragons 5e | Campaign

About the adventure

Years after Percy Jackson's final battle in Manhattan, a new prophesy has been spoken. The Gods are in trouble and the fate of the universe lies in the hands of a group of young half-bloods. (That's you!) Set in the Riordian-verse, players will adventure into the realm of the Gods to thwart the plot of a mysterious new threat. Battle mythical monsters, solve ancient riddles, avoid devious traps, and save the world. 📝Quick Notes - Session Zero will be free. This is a good opportunity for us to map out the expectations of the game and get a baseline for characters and play styles. - Session days and times are negotiable in session zero. (I'm a middle school ELA teacher on summer break.) - Can provide pre-rolled characters or help with character creation in session zero. - This campaign is set in modern times but sticks to old-school weapons. 🔍Things to Expect - References to the Percy Jackson book series/Greek mythology (previous knowledge a huge plus, but not required) - Many roleplay opportunities. I love when my players make the story their own! Have fun with it! - A balance of puzzles, traps, and high-stakes battles.

I can't say enough good things about Andy as a game master! His ability to create a rich and immersive setting that genuinely brings our D&D games to life with his world building is unmatched. What truly distinguishes him is his ability to subtly incorporate player innovation into the narrative, giving each of player a sense of essential participation in the journey. Additionally, his homebrew content not only makes our gaming sessions more exciting, but it's also extremely inventive. Andy also makes sure that everyone feels appreciated and welcome at the table with his inclusive and approachable style. You've found the right GM if you're searching for someone who encourages creativity, inclusivity, and a memorable gaming experience!

How to prepare

Must haves: - Microphone - Reliable internet connection - Roll20 account - Discord account for communication - A positive and adventurous attitude Prefer to have - Access to 5e Players Handbook - Webcam - D&Dbeyond account (Helpful for character creation & provides a free Players Handbook)

What I provide

🧪Homebrew heavy Lots of visuals - Maps - Some character art - Detailed descriptions and lore - New player cheat sheets and guides Balance of combat, puzzles, and roleplay leaning slightly more roleplay-heavy. I'm not a stickler for the rules. I'm much more concerned with having fun than running a super technical game. Rule of cool is in play and roleplaying will be rewarded.
