About the adventure
Experience the world of The Last of Us brought to tabletop! In the city of London 18 years after the outbreak, the military barely hold control of the city. If the streets, buildings and alleys aren't overrun with infected, you will likely run into deadly hunters known as the Sons of Fawkes... This is a very grounded survival game, recommended for players that have intermediate experience with D&D 5e. You'll need supplies, ammo and anything else you can get your hands on. Parts for your weapon upgrades, and pills for perks. Take caution, make your bullets count, and - for god's sake - DON'T GET BIT! The Last of Us TTRPG is its own game created by me based off of D&D 5e rules. It has it's own classes, factions, weapons and more! If you've played the video games, you'll recognise the parts you gather can upgrade your weapons, and the pills to upgrade in skill trees. If your bullets aren't working, chuck a Molotov at the infected instead! This passion project can fully immerse you into this post-apocalyptic world and bring together the amazingness that is D&D and The Last of Us! Interested now? Join me, the GM that can bring NPCs and monsters to life as a voice actor, can bring you a totally unique tabletop experience, and can bring you a gritty story to test what you are capable of! Endure and survive!

About me
Voice actor, writer, game designer. So you want to play D&D. Then allow me to take you on a unique adventure and shape a story together! As a professionally trained voice actor, I can immerse you into the world of fantasy. On top of this I like to make your character's backstory blossom the way you intend, whether they are looking for redemption, power, or simply their lost pet. It's my ambition to make your character's family, friends, and enemies truly come to life! I can DM for newcomers to the game at level 1, all the way to experienced demi-gods at level 20. I like to create my own campaigns set in my own worlds so you truly have a unique D&D experience. Sessions can vary from heavy roleplay, to heavy combat, or somewhere in between - whatever the vibe is. I dabble in game design to give you a splash of homebrew rules, spells, and even subclasses, should you want to spice things up. Or venture further with what I can offer, with my own TTRPG based on D&D 5e rules, set in the world of The Last of Us, with original classes, factions, and infected. Whatever background you are from, or whatever neurodivergent powers you possess, let's come together and create some real magic!

Creating your character
I trust my players to create their own character outside the session then show it to me before the session starts. If you are new to D&D however and have never created a character before, I am more than happy to have a one-to-one chat and go through the fun process with you! Ability scores are done with a point buy system. You have 72 points to distribute among your ability scores. Each ability score must have a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 15 points. This is before your faction ability score modifiers. So for example, you spend 15 points on Strength and you are playing as a WLF, which adds 2 to their Strength score, your final Strength score is 17. Starting out you will need to create your character at level 1.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Character creation will need to be done before the session as shown above. Mics will be a necessity to communicate which will be done via the discord server. Webcams are preferable but not compulsory. I will be using my webcam on Roll20 for a full idea of how NPCs will express themselves, both facially and physically - not just vocally. I would encourage everyone to do the same so that I can see all your beautiful faces also, however I understand not everyone is comfortable with this, so as I said before, webcams are not compulsory. You will need a Roll20 account. It is free to sign up and there will be a link to the campaign in the discord server. You will also need a discord account which is also free and I will send a link to the server to you.

I will bring custom maps to the game. All battlemaps are handcrafted by myself. How Ash K. creates a safe table
Session 0. I like to do my session 0 as a one-to-one chat with everyone before the first session. Here we can discuss things that may trigger you That way when it comes to session 1 we can jump straight into the fun! Lines and Veils. There will be a link to a google doc in the discord server for the lines and veils of the campaign. X, N and O Cards. This will be done in chat. If something is making you feel uncomfortable just pop an 'X' in the chat. If this is related to something I am unaware of I will likely have you join a private room to quickly identify the trigger and discuss how we should move forward. I will never pry. Open Door. Nothing is forcing you to be in the chat. If for any reason you need to step out, that is fine. I will make sure your character is treated with their due respect until you are ready to return. Breaks. Breaks are a necessity for campaigns running for longer than 2 hours. Keeping focus for online sessions is understandably hard. I aim to have a 10-15 minute break at least by the 3 hour mark, but I will place them in whenever is needed. Debriefing. This is a wonderful tool after the session ends to not only discuss any issues you might have, but also things that you loved. If there is something another character has done that has impressed you or stood out to you, or a funny thing you want to bring up again... say it!
