About the adventure

Calling all rookies and newbie adventurers! I'm looking for 3–6 players that know almost nothing about roll 20 and dnd5e and are hesitant to jump in to a normal session (people can be mean, you know). Let's plan a campaign to go over the basic rules and set up for using roll20 to play Dungeons and Dragons 5e. I'd like to bring the same group over 5 sessions. The first 30 min to an hour will be going over rules and general info. The last 2 hours will be practical application in a more traditional DND session format Session 1: intro to roll20 and beginner character creation with some light role-playing and 1–2 battles Session2: Game theory and status effects with a Level up to 2! We will begin the DND starter classic Lost mines of Phandelver Session 3: Intermediate roll20 crash course, Multi classing and spell and ability terminology Level up to 3!. RP session in town with info on merchants purchasing and magical items Session 4: Traveling and exploration mechanics with advanced battle tactics. Enter the mines of Phandelver Session 5: Individual consultation on the player's chosen character and suggestions on how to RP and play them in combat, as well as suggestions for the future.
