About the adventure
This campaign is mainly a team campaign where you and a group of other trainers team up in the Kanto region to try to take the first Team Tournament championship. But you don't know what Pokemon are. You start the campaign in my homebrew world of Jacale Murlan where the Kanto region is an uncharted part of the world. There was a post asking individuals from different parts of the world to come to a precise location of the world at a certain time to help a professor with something that he says is important to the entire world and has the potential of large scale rewards. You are to form a team and battle your way up the ranks to take the championship, while also dealing with side quests and working to counter other factions trying to gain traction in the region. There are some different mechanics that will require some learning, but through playtesting, it has been universally decided by the testers that once learned, it is very simple.
Professor Oak wants a group of individuals not known to the region(Kanto placed into a homebrew world as an easy way to explain) to take part in a new Pokemon tournament that is being held in a team format. His reasons aren't fully given, but he is willing to pay very handsomely. The campaign is currently about to start its first session where the party is going to go and meet the professor as the given date and time and location that was on the random advertisement that you found in the area you are from.

How to prepare
You can make a free Shardtabletop.com account. You do not have to pay anything for that account or any content. By joining through the link I will provide on Discord, you will have access to all my content. You will also need a discord account as that is where most communication will be done as well as voice chat during sessions. You will also need a way, such as headset/mic, to be able to speak and hear over discord.
What I provide
Shard Tabletop and all of my content that I've put into it is for use for this campaign. It also has tokens for all Gen 1 Pokemon, but you are free to look for your own artwork or pictures to "customize" your Pokemon if you would like. I alternate between RoC and RaW depending on circumstances of what you are trying to do. That will be explained in a session 0. I also do SOME voices. I know that I'm not a professional voice actor, but I do try to give NPCs more than just normal DM talking voice. I take notes for recaps for the beginning of each session.

How will character creation work
Character creation will be done at session 0s with players. There will be standard array. Starting level for the beginning of the campaign will be 1. While you will be allowed to be more races than only human, you will be advised on races that could be resembling Pokemon themselves, potentially, and therefore causing consequences ranging from comical to severe. Not all races in my content will be allowed for this campaign.
