About the adventure

In the shadowed aftermath of an enigmatic cataclysm known only as the "Eclipse of Memory," the world stands as a fractured relic of its former self. Once-great civilizations now lie in ruin, their towering shadow moved forward through desolate landscapes. The Eclipse of Memory: Long ago, an arcane calamity shattered the fabric of time and memory, leaving the world trapped in a perpetual twilight. The once-vivid recollections of civilizations, cultures, and individuals have slipped through the world's fingers like grains of sand, leaving behind fragments of a past that no one can fully grasp. The catastrophe birthed eldritch anomalies, twisted monstrosities, and pockets of reality that defy logic. The Shattered Realms: The land is divided into disparate realms, each with its own twisted geography and perilous inhabitants. From the ethereal Veilmarsh, where spectral remnants of memories linger, to the Cursed Expanse, a realm engulfed in perpetual twilight, the survivors must navigate treacherous terrain while confronting the remnants of their forgotten past. Sanctuaries of the Lost: Amidst the chaos, enigmatic Sanctuaries of the Lost have emerged ancient structures that seem to defy the Eclipse's influence. Within these sanctuaries, surviving communities eke out an existence, clinging to the fragments of knowledge they've managed to preserve. However, even here, the Eclipse's touch is felt, distorting reality and testing the inhabitants' sanity. Seekers of the Forgotten: The protagonists of this world are Seekers: individuals drawn together by an inexplicable compulsion to uncover the truth of the Eclipse and reclaim the lost memories. Armed with tattered remnants of the past and guided by cryptic visions, Seekers embark on a perilous journey through realms tainted by eldritch forces, facing both twisted abominations and fellow survivors driven mad by the Eclipse. The Siren's Lament: A haunting melody echoes through the realms, drawing both Seekers and malevolent entities alike. Its origin remains unknown, but its allure is impossible to resist. As the Seekers delve into the twisted remnants of their world, they uncover forgotten truths, confront the eldritch entities that thrive on stolen memories, and strive to piece together the fractured narrative of their existence in a realm where even the concept of time has become an elusive specter.

About me

Hey everyone! My name is Alphonse, but you can call me Al! I am a long time DM and amateur novelist. I love all things high fantasy and have successfully written a few campaigns and wrote stories ranging from psychological horror to slice of life romance. When I DM I put a lot of heart and soul into not just the NPCs you interact with but take personal interest in you as a character to make sure you not only have a kicking time. But also so your special character is a well integrated part of the story we weave together! I've been DMing for 10+years now and even though I've got age under my belt I am always open to new ideas and even honing my skills to become better! I look forward to seeing you at the table!

Creating your character

character creation will be done session 0 in Foundry VTT

What to expect

Preparing for the session

make sure you are mentally prepared for a dystopian setting game, based loosely from the ideations of "Fromsoft" style combat. A microphone is necessary as well as discord to properly communicate.

What Allen brings to the table

I will bring forth a true gritty game which will push player's characters to their limits physically, but also will be pushing the players to truly help their toon grow not just in strength but in strength of mind as well.
