About me
Hello! I'm Hayden, or Stark, both work for me. I've been a Dungeon Master for 5 years, and a TTRPG player for 6. I have a big love for TTRPGs. I have played D&D 5e, Pathfinder 2e, Call of Cthulhu, Avatar Legends, The Power Rangers RPG, and Vampire: The Masquerade. For running games, I mostly run D&D 5e. I run games that are balanced between narrative/roleplay and combat. I bring playlists for ambiance and combat music and love to create fun moments for everyone at the table. I've run full campaigns of Curse of Strahd and Out of the Abyss, and am currently working on a homebrew campaign to bring to my weekly home game. I have run games for new and experienced players alike, so if you're a newbie looking to try D&D for the first time, feel free to hit me up! I have no tolerance for homophobia, transphobia, racism, sexism, or bigotry of any kind. I aim to create a space that is safe and welcoming for everyone. Creating your character
Everyone will start with a Level 1 Character. You do not need to have your character prepared before Session 0, this is optional. If you are new, I will help you create your character during Session 0. Stats will be done using Point Buy. If you are unsure what this means, don't worry! We will go over it during the Session 0. All published material is allowed within reason but is subject to DM approval. For example, subclasses from Xanathar's Guide to Everything and Tasha's Cauldron of Everything are allowed.
This campaign will take place every other Thursday night from 7:00 p.m. to 10 p.m. EST. If, after we have gotten started, we find that we need to adjust when we meet, I am open to making adjustments to accommodate scheduling conflicts, but because of my schedule, I may be limited on how much adjustment I can make. I will run a 2-3 hour session. Depending on how things go in a session, we may end early but we will never have a session less than 2 hours long. I look forward to playing with you!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
1.) Microphone - Everyone should have a microphone and headphones or a headset, and be preferably in a quiet area free from background distractions. 2.) Rules - If unfamiliar, take some time to read through the Basic Rules of 5th Edition. I can provide additional guidance on the rules throughout the game. 3.) Character Creation - This can be done ahead of time or during Session 0. 4.) Discord and Roll20 - Have a Discord and Roll20 Account.

How DM Stark creates a safe table
I will host a complimentary Session 0 to establish expectations for the campaign, discuss character creation, and ensure everyone is aligned. During this session, we'll cover all potential in-game content, given that Curse of Strahd is a horror-themed game that may involve elements causing discomfort for some players. Additionally, we'll review any potential Lines and Veils. X, N, and O's will be managed digitally in the chat. My primary goal is to ensure that every player has an enjoyable experience, so if anything makes you uncomfortable, feel free to use my open-door policy. You can privately message me with any concerns that need addressing. All of my games are POC and LGBTQIA+ friendly.
