About the adventure

Welcome to Center. An island in the middle of a storm in which magic cannot penetrate, you've washed ashore after your ship fell to the waves and storm. With no other options it is now up to you to figure out how to end this torrential storm and escape the island to return to your old life. Survival and roleplay focused game starting at 2nd level, Build up a survival camp and explore an island filled with mystery and danger. Take your own life in your hands and decide the fate of the island and its survivors as you start with next to nothing and have to fight and craft your way to the top. Takes place in a homebrew setting with new Lore and includes The Common Crafting System an easier and more streamlined crafting system for basic things. Will include tracking of ammo and rations, expect alot of gritty tracking and numbers.

About me

I am a role-playing focused dm and I enjoy creating a fun environment for players to cry laugh and of course play ttrpgs. I tend to get caught in the weeds a bit but my goal is ultimately fun for everyone!

Character creation

Creating your character

Character creation will be finalized during session zero but if time allows I will be available for messaging discussing characters beforehand. Due to the harshness of the Isle I would recommend having a back up character concept in mind so if character death occurs we can fit you back into the game sooner rather then later. Standard classes and races will be allowed, I also have a selection of homebrew I generally allow on my discord channel you will need to join to play as it is where the sessions will take place for voice.

The current party

This game will have survival elements so all I will ask is you don't try to play the game to beat the mechanics. Lines and Veils Forms can be found on the Discord once you join.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

A mic and discord account will required as well as a roll20 account. I will provide the sheets on the roll20 and all other materials. If you wish to use your camera during session that is fine but not required, though if you do please be in appropriate attire or you will be asked to turn it off. I would prefer if your background is free of distractions both in sound or visual as you are paying to be here and I would like everyone to have as good a time as possible.

What TheAngryFly brings to the table

All you need is the afore mentioned roll20 and discord account and a mic that works. I will provide just about everything else you need other then yourself.

Homebrew rules

We have custom travel rules, crafting rules, and yes BA potions.

Safety

How TheAngryFly creates a safe table

Session 0 will cover the portions of the campaign I am willing to discuss(without giving away too much), additionally it will cover character creation and backstory and tying everything together into a nice bow. It will also be where we discuss as a group our expectations of each other as players and DM.
