Your DM will provide character backstory integration into the plot, and include homebrew features to enrich the existing story. 🎲 🗺️ The Lore of Phandelver and Below: The Shattered Obelisk Centuries ago, a pact sealed by dwarves, gnomes, and humans brought an era of prosperity, while collectively mining the deep riches of the Phandelver Mines for generations. Their most secretive and bountiful cavern, harboring the legendary Forge of Spells, was a beacon of shared wealth and magical might. But this golden age was not to last. Marauding bandits and mercenaries unleashed a tempest of greed and destruction, decimating the secret cave and its wonders. In their wake, the bustling town of Phandalin fell into desolation. Now, after centuries, whispers of the Lost Mines of Phandelver echo across the land, igniting the spirits of adventurers. The Rockseeker dwarves, are seeking clues to the mines' location, they have hired you to transport vital supplies to the town of Phandalin. However, the journey holds more than the promise of forgotten treasures. You know that dark forces are aware of the mine's ancient powers, lurking in the shadows, plotting to find the lost mines for their secret agenda.

I've played as a Half-Orc fighter, in V's campaign two years ago for over 20 sessions. It was a blast! V's really good at mixing our backstories into the main story, making everything feel epic and personal. The sense of danger was real, and the rewards felt accomplishing. Loved how V was open to our ideas and really made them part of the game. Definitely a great DM, made my experience fun and memorable.
Always with great visuals, music and quality of storytelling! I've played D&D with V since the beginning of his journey, and I've witnessed his passion and commitment to the hobby. V can adapt game sessions to the group's preference of roleplay with great backstory integration into the plot! We played an evil one-shot recently, and as someone who enjoys playing evil characters and epic combats, my experiences with V have always been thrilling, but this recent session? It made me feel like a true supervillain, the narrative and flavor were insane, without a doubt it was my most fun RPG experience. I can totally recommend V as a DM for new and experienced players! He was the one who introduced me to D&D, and his teaching style is effective and enjoyable.
Voyager DM handled a campaign of both beginners and intermediate players with ease and finesse. The story telling through music, visual aids, and NPC voices created a world full of depth and character with strong backstory and flavor to everything our party did. The pure amount of detail in everything our campaign accomplished made the session not only fun, but extremely engaging. One member of the party even briefly made reference to a chess board on a map and within seconds the DM had an interactive board ready to play. The DM’s ability to improvise never ceased to amaze me, and made the players decisions the heart of the session. Look no further both new and veteran players, Voyager DM is the perfect storyteller you’ve been searching for.
This campaign was my first ever DnD experience, and my GM was incredibly helpful introducing me to the game. He offered me thoughtful advice during my character creation while also working my character's lore into the story. He has been incredibly patient with our group as we figure out the intricacies of Roll20 and has efficiently explained the stat, spell, and item systems to the point it now feels second-nature. He had a fully prepared world he had been working on for months filled with unique people, items, sounds, plotlines, and situations that made my first campaign a truly memorable and immersive experience. And even with all of this preparation, he still gives each player the space and freedom to roleplay their character however they see fit within that world, leading to several uniquely absurd situations. Overall a truly wonderful campaign and GM!
V has made the process of picking up D&D again seamless and very engaging. From the very beginning, everyone in the group is given freedom and unique avenues to explore within the world. His “player first” approach is fantastic, and works for experienced and newer players alike. Highly recommend!!!
