About the adventure
Local villagers whisper of a mysterious place deep in the marsh – a place shrouded in mist and dotted with barrow mounds, ruined columns, and standing stones. The tomb-robbers who explore beneath the mounds – or rather the few who return – tell tales of labyrinthine passages, magnificent grave goods, and terrifying creatures waiting in the dark. Are you brave (or foolish) enough to enter Barrowmaze?
All players who wish to join the campaign must first complete a Session 0 with GM Greg. This is a complementary meeting where players can meet Greg, and create their characters.

Gameplay details
Welcome to Secrets of the Barrowmaze! In order to join the campaign, each player must undergo a brief Session 0 with the GM. When you first join the campaign, you will be sent the links to the following: - the Roll20 campaign tabletop - the D&D Beyond Campaign - the Beyond20 browser plugin - the TOT RPG Consent Survey - an invitation to the campaign Discord During your Session 0, we will first review your Consent survey, and then we shall create your character using D&D Beyond. From there, we'll post a link to your character sheet in the #Mustering channel on the campaign discord. Once that's done, you'll be given access to the tavern channel, #the-early-grave. This is an in-game channel where you'll be able to converse with your fellow players in character. Take this opportunity to share information, compare notes, and form parties. When a party is ready, they can then schedule a 2-3 hour session with me either by signing up for an existing time slot or using the "Request Different Time" feature on the adventure page. When you book each session, please have a specific goal or objective in mind, such as "We want to go try the key we found in the east wing of the dungeon in that locked door over in the south wing" or "We want to earn some extra money doing guard work for the caravans." I will take this prompt and prepare a custom, bespoke session for you based on that objective. Sessions are planned in advance, then executed at the table. But as we all know, no plan ever survives implementation. Have backup character(s) ready. Post-session, players will be encouraged to submit session write-ups for bonus in-game benefits.

How will character creation work
Characters will be created during the Session 0. Each character should be created in D&D Beyond using only the 5th Edition Player's Handbook. If it's in the PHB, it's approved. If it's not in there, it's not usable. Players will generate their stats using either Standard Array or Point Buy.
