About the adventure
Explore the jungles of Chult with this reimagined version of the classic Tomb of Annihilation! With an alternative start, our campaign begins in Port Nyanzaru with level 1 characters. In Session 0, we'll discover why your characters are in the Port and their individual and party motivations for exploring the land. From there, we have several mysteries waiting for you across the continent! 🔎 Mysteries Ensue 🔍 The Party starts in Port Nyanzaru trying to figure out the murder of a goldfish, the presumed stalking of an up-and-coming local bard, and The Case of the Ice Cold Compy before the ultimate mystery begins: The Death Curse. In a race against time and dinosaurs, the party will have to discover what is causing the recently un-deceased to wither and the flow of divine magic to be stymied. There are three main areas of play: Hexploration, Dungeon, and Societal. 🦖 Hexploration focuses on high-level activities - mapping the land, scouting around a temple complex, trailblazing, etc. These are activities that affect the entire party. ⚔️ Dungeon is the different playing environments you will encounter and explore, maps of specific places to digitally explore with a token representing your specific character. 🗣️ Societal focuses on the interactions between PCs and NPCs and political entities. These usually take place in "Theater of the Mind" with no maps or tokens necessary.
