🌒Courts of the Shadowfey: Tales of Shadows🌘|Level 7-10|LGBT+
About the adventure
Can you work your way up the courtly ladder in time to save the once-free city of Zobeck? This campaign will have you working up the Shadowfey's Social Hierarchy, searching for lost kingdoms long swallowed into the shadow fey, and possibly even trying Depolmicy. Going from levels 7-10 As the party makes alliances, perhaps even enemies, and even make progress in their own and perchance other factions goals. You will meet interesting folks all with their own reasons for being tangled inside the web of the Shadow fey. Are far are you willing to crawl inside the web to reach your goals. The inciting incident: The Shadowfey have taken over the once-free city of Zobeck. There is only one way to get rid of them with fewer casualties and bloodshed. To head to the shadow courts and appeal to the queen to free the city from chaos and tyranny. They can't get away with keeping most of the population inside the walls, outlawing the god Lathander and all other sun gods, closing all temples, and barring people from entering without permission from the ambassador of the queen. You must free the city, outfight and outwit the shadow fey in the heart of their own realm: the maze of treachery and deceit that is the Courts of the Shadow Fey. Can you save the city and make your way up the political ladder, possibly uncover the mysteries of the lost fey kingdom sunken into the shadow realm, or and just per chance you could unwind your own fate and forge your new path? Proficiencies
Players say this GM is great at:
Creativity
Inclusive
Storytelling
Miro is a great storyteller, including lots of details in their descriptions of characters and environments. He's very good at incorporating player backstories and actions into the overall narrative of the game, and makes sure to include everyone. Naturally, this ability attracts good players -- so if you're looking to join a good group in an engaging story, look no further!
They have an amazing sense of timing. They know how to let the players have their space and time to interact with one another and when to continue things forward. They're all around amazing, funny, and just a delight to spend time with. They're also amazing if you have any anxiety. They're incredibly welcoming and friendly.
I joined Miro's witchlight campaign on a whim because it looked like a fun concept, and I have been blown away every week by their fantastic storytelling! They were more than willing to allow my unique character concept and incorporate them into their world in a really fun, immersive way. Such a good vibe, I look forward to continuing this campaign!
Miro is exceptionally permissive as a storyteller, clever as an improviser, and quick to use their judgment to maintain a healthy momentum for their games. They are willing to use rules to facilitate and encourage players, and is also willing to disregard them for the purpose of bolstering the enjoyment of anyone at the table. I think most people would be hard pressed to find someone so welcoming, diligent, and fun to tell their stories.
Character creation
Creating your character
This will take place in Faerune. No real restrictions on race I would say, Giff, Hadozee, and Plasmoids would be very out of place but if you want to play one we can find a way. I would love to have a mix of fey and non-fey ancestry. Homebrew will need to be discussed early and you must be open to Nerfing and buffing as needed. I would say a week in advance of the start of the homebrew usage is the last day to put it in. Gives me time to overlook and think about it We are level 7, you may roll on dnd beyond, but stranded and point buy are good by me. You may have 1 uncommon and 1 rare item some items are subject to approval no lanterns of reveling. You also will get one free feat the gifts of the dragon are excluded.
We are level 8, new players will get a free session zero with me before the game. We are currently on route for court and I would love to bring you and your character into the narrative and help craft your very own tale among the shadows. This is an established group but we are super excited to have people join. We are a friendly bunch We have an Eldritch Knight Fighter, Gloomstalker Ranger going into blade singing, Misfortune Rogue/Shadow sorcerer, and a Knowledge cleric. No Transphobia/Homophobia, basically be respectful of your other players and GM.
